@@rtyzxc No, but my unsderstanding is that if the code on the ram is BL16Gxxxxx then it is dual rank, if it's BL8xxxxxx it's single rank? Or the 16 instead of an 8 comes later in the part code. I can see that my kit has memory chips on both sides though.
@@mikel4159 BL2K16... is just a product number you see on store websites and it doesn't tell about what the chips are and if they are single or dual rank. For that, you need to check your sticks individual code (the one not on stores), you can use some program or it might be written on the sticks.

Someone correct me if I’m wrong but is the 4400mhz cl16 better than 4000mhz cl15? I read to find the speed of RAM that you take the CAS latency and divide it by the MHZ and then multiply that by 2,000. When using that equation I found the 4400 CL16’s are the best but minuscule compared to the 4000 cl15’s. I’m also very non knowledgeable in this field so someone tell me if I’m wrong I’m just looking for the best of everything to get the most out of warzone. Stuck debating between the Alienware 240hz 1440 and the 360hz 1080, regardless I just want to get the max possible frames regardless of resolution I use.
What is the best ram for me? I want the best for gaming and streaming 64gb. I was under the assumption that more ram is better for streaming so I’m going with that. But there is no b die in 64gb with high MHz and low latency. Price is no issue
They are not B Die. Basically Corsair RAMs are 99% not B Die. If you don't care for FPS and more about looks you can get either one. Both kits are basically the same.
Which ram should I buy for 5900x + Asus Dark Hero to get maximum out of my system. Want to use all 4 ram slots for a watercooling build, rams + timings? (colour should be black + lighting to fit to my motherboard)
4000 it’s up to if you want 4x8, 2x16, or 4x16 in this video he recommends the viper series which don’t include xmp profiles and you have to tune the timings yourself. Frame has a video on how to work timings it’s trial and error with lots of crashes or no posts. Hope you enjoy the build.
I got some gskill trident 3200cl14 and literally just punched in the exact numbers from the 4266cl17 1.45v gskill kit and it works. $250 for 2x16gb. As long as it’s bdie and binned well enough to run at a certain speed/latency and a certain voltage then it should be fine to just buy the cheapest one and punch in the numbers. But then again.. it’s not a guarantee and it’s only like $20 cheaper.. 🤷

It all depends on what kit you have, people don’t realize what ram bin you are buying, and Bdie is were it’s at, I have a couple 3200-14-14-14-34-1.35v 2x16gb kits that I’ve overclocked to 4500-4600-17-17-17-37-2t daily stable and 2 of them will do 4800-14-14-14-30-2t for benching, still none can touch my best 2x8gb kit which I daily 4700-16-16-16-36-2t at 73k read/write and 32ns latency but I bin ram for XOC. I sold a bunch of kits that I binned that all do 4600-17-17-17-37-2t on z490 easily daily as long as you have a good IMC setup my buddy with 4266-15-16-16-36-2t tight AF 2nds/3rds RTL/IOL in about 20 mins on a maximus hero with a bottom bin 10900k and shitty IMC.
And people also don’t realize how big of an improvement ram overclocking can net you, on z390 I benched warzone FPS at bunch of different speeds and timings from 3600c16 xmp to 4400-16-16-16-36-2t tight AF and everything inbetween and the difference on that system 9900k 5.4/50cache 2080ti hardware modded for power and voltage so repeatable results no down-clocking ect was almost 60fps. Then switching to z490 with about 15% more bandwidth netted about 15-20fps after CW integration FPS hit.
I wish you would actually talk consistently about subject of your video titles instead of the live stream recaps. Struggling to find Bdie kits that will fit under my Dark rock Pro 4, I opted for Crucial Ballistix BL2K16G36C16U4B, 2x16gb kit that I believe is dual rank (chips on both sides) I think it's Micron E die and I've seen a couple vids of it being pushed to 3800mhz (the sweet spot for ryzen 5000 infinity fabric?) with slightly tighter timings than stock....seems like a decent option if clearance and/or availability is an issue?
Ballistix 2x16gb is not guaranteed dual rank, also they no longer use rev E, but rev B
Lol, I literally just had that question and checked your channel to see if you had a video where you explain everything. And the first thing I see is this, uploaded less than a day ago :D
What do you think of Micron E-die kits?
What is the best ram for me? I want the best for gaming and streaming 64gb. I was under the assumption that more ram is better for streaming so I’m going with that. But there is no b die in 64gb with high MHz and low latency. Price is no issue
10900k build, i really want the corsair dominators rams, should I go 4x8gb 3200mhz cl16 or 4x8gb 3600mhz cl18 ?
It’s not gonna crash . There’s multiple currencies .
I want to build a pc strictly for competition Warzone. What components would you suggest? Not really on a budget. Also not crazy on RGB.
It depends how skilled you are at overclocking components, 10900k if your new to hardware, 5950X if you know how to overclock or can even get one
I’m new to pc period. Just trying to learn which components are best for Warzone before I go out and try and purchase a pc. I have been looking at building via nzxt, Cyberpc, or xidian.
@@Poppi3579 if you want me to do everything with you start to finish go to framechasers.org/consulting and pay for a consult and I’ll help you get everything going and make sure you don’t buy the wrong stuff

What’s the part number? Curious to know
@@ryanclarke2005 if you get anything with 16-16-16-36 and it’s not from crucial then it’s more than likely going to be B-Die
How much worse is 4x8 on 1490, cuz im ona tight budget and on my build im going with 2x8 vipers and later down the road buying 2 more 2x8 for total of 4x8? i just wanna know if this is gonna hold me back A LOT vs 2x16, cuz im super compettive and sensitive on things while playing shooters

@@FrameChasers You convinced me to buy some B-Die. I ordered the 4400 Patriot kit. Currently have a 9900KS, 3090, Gigabyte Arous Z390 Elite and CL16 running at 3400MHZ. Is your consults for Warzone mainly dining in the ram kits ? I have no idea what I am doing there. Always just enabled XMP. How much of an improvement should I expect with properly dialled in B-Die at 1440p? Currently getting 150-200 depending on location.
hey bro I watched your comparrison of the 2080ti and the 3070 and I saw that they were identical in performance but on this video you say that the 3070 is far inferior to the 2080ti, Should I try trade my 3070 for a 2080ti if I'm only playing warzone ?
also keep up the awesome content !
no, just keep the 3070 resizable bar probably isn't coming to Turing
Hey man, I really appreciate the content. As a hardcore warzone guy and newbie to the pc building space, it helps a lot. I built my first rig last September(3700x, 2070s, b550, 16 gb 3600 cl16 ram). Ive been horny for upgrades lately and figured ram is the cheapest/easiest at the moment, so this video also helps pointing me in the right direction. Currently, with a decent gpu oc and enabling pbo, I’m getting max 130-140 fps, 110-115 downtown. If I get that 4000 ram, will that help with my FPS without messing with the timings and just enabling xmp? Appreciate any help, be well bro.
3700x cant be difficult over 3800mhz ram...but if you lower tho this speed from a 4000 you can get lower timmings and that is geting a better performance.
@@surpriseblueviana3803 appreciate the reply! So you’re saying that if I get the 32 gb of vipers and enabled xmp, it would give my system problems?
@@cbarrshiz Your cpu generations have limitions and infinity fabric is importante on Ryzen, but you can lower the speed and get better lattency and timmings on the kit....The new generation 5000 have high speed on the ram.
Do not buy this ram expecting XMP to work with ryzen
@@FrameChasers I hear ya. From your videos and others, I’ve realized I fucked up in purchasing a 3700x for warzone gaming anyway. I’ll rock what I have until I upgrade to a better cpu. Rookie mistakes, thanks again for the content.
“Can’t do it, can’t buy it don’t wanna talk about it” lmao
You notified for the wrong 3080. They basically only release the 3080 FTW3 Ultra cards, not the non-ultra ones. My 3080 is coming tomorrow from EVGA. I notified 9/18 at 6pm for the 3080 FTW Ultra...been four months. There was like 500+ ppl in front of me. They've released like one non-ultra from the queue

I have a 10900k with ASUS hero wifi and a 3090 tuf OC. I have Corsair vengeance 3200 2x 16. I am a frame chaser and only play Warzone. Would I improve my FPS upgrading the ram?. If money is no object wich would be the best ram?

It’s only worth if you’re playing low settings 1080p 🤷🏻♂️
@@mikeramos91 incorrect
Then switching to z490 with about 15% more bandwidth netted about 15-20fps after CW integration FPS hit.
the evga dropped to 900$ on nwegg idk if i should get it its a 3070 ti btw
I wish you would actually talk consistently about subject of your video titles instead of the live stream recaps. You'll touch on something I really really really want to know about, get distracted, and the whole time I'm thinking "man I hope I finishes that point" and get little sprinklings of info at best.
No disrespect, do what you want with your channel I'm just sayin' that's how I feel. Like that how to test ring bus stability with fortnite. That was fuckin dope and very very useful information.
I hope more of that comes out of your content
The problem with those videos is they take the most work, get the least clicks and watch time. People seem to enjoy the commentary style content much more, gotta do whatever the algorithm tells me to do
during this time I payed 700$ for a 5900x & 800$ for a 3060 lol.
was that stupid ? absolutely because with the 3k that I spent on my build. I would have had a way better pc.
but guess what ? i would do it all over again because the knowledge I’ve gained over the years was worth it.
Microcenter gets 3060ti- 3090 randomly every day except sundays, but you have to camp outside. I am unsure if I should return my Asus 3070 KO in hope that nvidia releases the 3080/70 ti with more VRAM. I am not sure if if I should be happy and sell it later but currently I am waiting for a power supply to come in the mail. I sure hope 4000 series is better or that Samsung/nvidia can make more graphics cards. People are either dumb or don’t know what they are doing, just paying to much for old GPUs.
I got some trident Z and plan on overclocking. I think the speed and timings are just a guarantee but you can overclock slow cheap ram and can get the same speed and timings.
