Steffen living the dream again! Always interesting to hear about what Norma are doing next to keep ahead of the game. As we are being driven towards unleaded alternatives I would like to hear about the work going into smaller calibre Eco-Strike bullets for .243, for example.
I see a ton of reviews on RUclips for your ammo here in America and have not seen a bad review, accurate and stays together. All you can expect, thanks.
I see in your video you are using the 300wm . Can you compare the factory ammo to reloading it with the norma bondstrike. As I can't do it my side in south africa as I can get the factory ammo but not the bullets for reloading to try duplicate the factory load. And to see how consistent the factory loads are . I love the bondstrike and will use them next year for a hunt for a kudu. Regards Kyle Botha
Hi Kyle, in my opinion consistency, next to projectile performance, is the major pro of all the norma factory loads!I used them heavily across the globe and never had an issue. The fps on the BS is so consistent that I wouldn’t go through the hustle of reloading
@@SHHuntingMedia ok thanks I use the factory ammo but I will give it a try when I can get the bondstrike bullets again my side. And at R1950 for a box of 20 it's a bit steep but it's awesome ammo used one of the ammo holders to start a fire for the braai.
That’s not correct! The bonding keeps the bullet together that’s why it works great on short ranges. Did you listen to anything that was said in the video 😅?
Well, it depends what you expect to have as a result. In high impact velocity the mushroom opens fully but stays locked core & jacket delivering a consistent performance. Yes, may be a little bite-y compared to eco strike or oryx, but will never explode and damage the venison. My suggestion is using an appropriate tool for appropriate job.
Short range just leads to massive expansion so the exit wound is a bit on the large side but no shrapnel and the bullet stays in one piece is my experience.

Thx a lot a Colin! We can’t say too much right now but new stuff is definitely on it’s way :)

Absolutely fascinated with these.
Great video as always! We need the right tool and info for the right job 👏
Thx a lot Simon !!
Ordered .30 bondstrike bullets this summer, they are still not in stock. Production issues? Great bullet by the way.
Super high demand! Sorry to hear that. Which country are you based ?

Would these bondstrke in a 30:06 be good for black bear or elk. Help ??
He hunts with the standard reloaded bondstrike in the caliber of 6.5 CM and 6.5x55, perfect stopping power for big game.
What cartridge were you holding there? I see it was belted. It looked too big to be a 300 win mag.
That is 300 win mag
Would like to see them in action 🦌🦌
bondstrike no good for short range. Too soft.
