In this video, I installed the HogWorkz color-matched inner fairing and Air Duct. The Quality, Color-Match, and fitment definitely exceeded my expectations! This was a fun and easy installation.

Bro my buddy tried riding his bike in a ditch and as we all know road glide don’t ride in ditches well. LoL. He got replacement parts and neither of us have ever replace one or the mounts before. @@RAIDERWORLD I have my fairing off right now for cleaning and changing some parts. Most important upgrade is changing the instruments LED colors to blue background and white needles. But I wanted to clean my air duct. Thank you for the detailed procedure. Now I have the confidence to do this job.
@@jobeta22 I’ll definitely be changing those out soon! And Harley still does chrome for the Gauge bezels, which is still a question for me, especially on a Special. Thank you again

Great Video! I like that color match air duct. My 21 RGS is vivid black and the inner fairing matches but a color matched air duct is the missing ticket. BTW… installed the apple car play plug and it is awesome, as well as the redline oils for my 3 hole oil change. My transmission shifts much smoother.

That’s awesome! Hopefully this video is helpful. It’s actually really easy to remove this complete fairing. Obviously it takes longer when doing a video, but definitely easy.
@@RAIDERWORLD yeah I am super nervous but once I get it all bolted in with brackets it looks kinda simple. I did a cheaper ebay inner and outter fairing before knowing anything about this, but looks decent enough for now, but yeah. Just waiting on my last few parts, I don't think it's gunna take a weekend honestly, harley shop said they do them all the time and it doesn't even need any electrical extentions just bolt it and go

Mine is a Snake Venom, so it currently looks pretty good black... :D I have "some" patience, not sure its on par with you, as I would be breaking plastic tabs... :D

I so needed yhis video 2 or 3wks ago when I replaced my inner fairing. I'm not HD educated but I enjoy learning as I go and I figured it solo. How much difference is there on the torq specs on your bike to a 15 RGS?

Does anyone know the bolt size to the inner fairing air ducts on each side of headlight bolt size? Not the length but what to buy? Converted street glide to road glide and cannot figure out what they are
Most of the time I go to the local hardware store (Home Depot or Lowe’s), and they have a screw/bolt sizer.
I LIke the color match. But I think the glove box lids should stay gloss black.
That would definitely give it a different look 👍🏽 who knows, maybe I’ll see how that looks later on.

No worries! I put them in small ziplock bags and just label them

Never use loctite with plastic! I guarantee if you open up you're fairing and look at your gauge housings you'll see they're disintegrated.
Good to know. I’ll find out soon enough when I change the gauges to digital. I’ll make sure to mention it if it happens 👍🏽
