Also not related to this video. But any thougths or knowledge on the TEFL PROGRAM . I want to teach english in DR. As I am american ,with dominican parents. And also planning to marry an dominican over there. Thanks
i see that city in Dominican it is a modern place with many services. It many not be a rich society but has everything a modern way of living requires. Apparently for what i can see there is not lack of malls, stores and restaurants.
DR is pretty expensive, just left santiago 3 days ago. they import everything pretty much so u have to pay for it. local food and products are cheaper (fruits, veggies and rent). Gasoline, electronics, furniture are very expensive. if u behave like an average dominican it is cheaper..if u behave like a gringo it will cost u
It really depends on what youre buying and where.... Cause i am a single man and i can spends as little as 5000 pesos for groceries every 15 days or so... Less or a little more than 100 dollars.... But for example... Eating a tipical dish like rice beans and meat in a mom and ppp wont cost more than 200 pesos... Whereas the same thing would be upwards of 11 dollars in the state....
Did you think these prices are more or less than in the US? Take into account the income difference too!
Some similar but some wayyy more expensive . They need to put a walmart in DR.
