Her first skill became so good especially if you're going to steal a kill or two but if we view in a different aspects, the old one is definitely better for various situations, not just team fight.
ikr, shes special cuz she has so many escape skills, now the new combo needs her to already prepared the purple ulti and ambush enemies, risky but eh who knows if theres better combo, idk la moonton kinda dumb, proceed to revamp the already good ones while abandonin vexana, faramis for example

I think faramis and vexana already have confirmed revamps and that there next after Lancelot Odette and hayabusa?

I guess her passive (stun) is much more important now that she needs to put her enemies in place
Old kagura can do that just fine , if you know how to take advantage of her slowing effects and how fast your hands doing the combos
What I'm trying to say is before kags can easily burst out her enemies using 1,3,1 combo. BUT NOW, she needs to incorporate her passive to her combo so she can burst out the enemies. I'm not saying it is a bad thing, it actually is a good revamp since it's must easier for her to burst down the enemies just by using 1,3,2 combo. You get what i mean.

@@lron7370 Well if she gets ice queen wand then her damage will fall, neither is my point exactly the CC either. Ice queen wand just isn't as viable of a solution. And if Moonton's goal is to make Kagura easier to use, the revamp without the slow would make her harder to control and land her full combo.
I think the same, they should put back at least her Slow effects in the Red Ult at the expense of a Nerf in her 1st skill, which received a lot of buff, then it would be more balanced

As much as I want to be mad the same as you at moonton we still haven't tried her yet let's just have some faith and not accuse them something they don't and hopefully won't even do.
They turn kagura into orianna.
I think they just have fun copying heroes mechanics from other games.
They are mostly revamping the character model and recall animation for each hero, to maintain the same hero models compared to the new heroes.

I personally don't think that radiant armor will affect revamped kagura since the main focus for that item is continuous damage and kagura has less burst combo in the revamp version

I wish they add a slow effect before the umbrella pulls the enemy for the red ultimate.
I wished they kept the slow on the blue and added the knockback for the purple/red

Old Kagura: nothing can go wrong when doing ulti as long as enemy nearby the umbrella.
New Kagura: needs timing, the ulti could miss if she uses it too fast or move the umbrella too slow.
Very old kagura: Welp i use my ultimate to clear minion waves
Old kagura: enemies with dash skills can easily escape
@Andrei because people are either too lazy to learn or just very dumb, I've main Kagura for a very long time now and I see this as a huge buff, because you can now be able to set up for your team ( and it's a great combo with any Tank) and deal an even higher damage

Plus faster and bigger hitbox, the revamp was a win/win

Somehow this opened up for new combo possibilities. especially when leaving your enemy for scouting purposes in bushes. I know it may looks uncomfortable but i believe we can manage it. Just remember the first time you guys play kagura.

Kagura in the original server is fine. The revamp version is still questionable but still promising though.
What we can do right now is to politely wait for the final touches since Kagura's revamp is still in development stage.

They revamped her only to make her easy to use . She didn't need any changes at all .
@@DivinePhoenix_ she’s still not easy to use even after this revamp. It become much harder than before because of the delay in her purple ult. You can’t casually spam/press button her skill because it still need proper placing and timing unlike spam/skill button mages eudora, lunox, chang’e etc.. Stop this “they made her much easy now” because they don’t, she’s still the same old Kagura that is not beginner friendly.
I still prefer the old combo since the reset of first skill from her ult is usefull. I played the revamped one and it seems like they removed the cd animation from her second skill. It's like the old Kagura. You have to be careful in tapping it coz you might go away from your umbrella once you teleport to it while doing the usual combo.
I think that the one from original server (ulti) gets reduce twice - because of initial and final damage - because of the base magic resistance, while the one from the advanced server (ulti) gets reduced once. Just my thoughts hehe~
Now Hororo is proving to us that Kagura revamp is not a nerf.

At 0:24 you can see that her new Ult has total damage of 1040+1 whereas her old Ult has 390+650, that additional '1' may be the cause of higher damage
Btw I still think putting back slow effects at her Red Ult would be better, even in expense of a nerf in her 1st (for example, decreasing either its range or speed or hitbox size)
With this new ult, she will be relying on the 1st skill slow to hit enemies with her ult
Hayst, you should throw your umbrella behind enemies and should stun them in a straight line (just like Moskov when he pierce) to increase your chance of successfully ULTing or else the enemy can escape especially if they are agile or you don't have a setter.
This is gonna be so much fun. As a kagura player for over 3 years now and 2k+ matches this change feels super exciting. Just a whole lot more possibilities and playstyles :D

What if we use 2nd phase ( red ) ult then use red 2nd skill, then use the 1st phase ( blue) 2nd skill will the ult effect follow us or remains on the umbrella
Slow effects shouldn't have been removed because it's one of her escaping needs. When chasing by an enemy, she can micro it and just slow them. Old kag is more on a mage-support type than just a burst Kagura.
If I were to choose, I would prefer the old Kagura but what I love is the new design
I'm going to miss the strings of her ultimate though
i played kagura and was my main hero before, my only problem with her was that her s1 since her umbrella is just slow and thank goodness moonton listened and i'm still working on her ult on how it works thanks hororo for always keeping us updated.
Im quite hyped with the revamp, since shes been my main since I started playing 4 years ago lmao, still not happy about the bonus attributes from skins and still need to upgrade emblems tbh

Use the Ice Q.Wand to slow down the enemy to successfully perform the combo

I think it's a waste of slot for her. sad but as seen in the vid you can ult in the bush and just time it to hit the enemy then. her 1st is faster now

I think petrify would really help kagura(revamped) out when performing the combo. Her red ult has a 1.5 second delay so kagura’s passive (stun + shield) plus petrify would definitely get kagura to execute her full combo properly
Btw, does the revamped kagura remind you of orianna from lolwr? Just my opinion
Hmmmmmmm interesting thought. Also one time I played orianna when I tried wildrift, I immediately thought "this is kagura without a dash" (this was before the revamp)
You can say that that was the inspiration behind Kagura's kit, but of course, with a few differences. Like while with Ori's kit usually benefiting more in helping teammates in teamfights, Kagura's kit is more towards burst/CC where she can dish out squishy heroes with enough mastery. And besides that, Kagura obviously has a much higher mobility than Ori in the sense that she can use her 2nd (Edit: both blue and red, I forgot) to either escape or chase enemies. But yeah, Kagura's like a mobile mage-Ori 2.0.
They have similarities, but I go by the logic of 'putting a dash on a champion turns it into a different champion.'
Id probably be here with angry eyebrows for being a new kagura main and first favorite mage since only went with assassin and fighters but that last skill packs a punch so ill try the revamped one.

I Don't Like new Kagura🗿
They just need to add an effect where before the pull, any enemies that are in range of the ult will get slowed, and it's basically a huge buff
i think it would be better if the casting of ulti just slow them a bit at first without damage then the final burst damage just to make sure its pretty easy to land... or it would be much harder this time...
The new damage does compensate for the links/slow from the old ulti. Not bad
You can outsmart the delay with using red ultimate first and move the umbrella, this is buff imo

You actually can keep the same combo coz while ultra delay is active u can stun with passive thanks to second and use ur blue ult so combo doesn't change

sounds good, the ulti rose made you very slow and in a person with good skills it makes your life impossible
still, no matter the damage, that 1.5s of delay is enough with so many heroes with blink skills in-game.
there's already a slow if you hit them with her 1st skill so I think that's enough. They even made the umbrella move faster.

The thing is if she becomes op she will receive a nerf and becomes useless while now she is perfectly balanced.... As the saying goes "dont try to fix something that isn't broken".
@Nino Laureles exactly, when moonton is doing anything to a hero, that hero will fall under moonton "watchlist" and you know what happens whenever they get their hands on these heroes, it's either nerf till unplayable or op af but nerfed when in original server.
@Nino Laureles I have played Kagura and she even help me to reach the Legend tier on the rank. With the changes that will be implemented onto her will make you furious but remember that this is not the final version for her revamp.
Just be patient and wait. Maybe the devs will listen to you and they will implement some of her old attributes on her revamp.

Moonton should add slow effect in her ult so the enemy can't escape in her new ult because it has 1.5 sec delay, we wish moonton listen to us add slow effect in her ult.

instead of burst ss why not monters will get attached to enemies and gives slow down effect of 80% for 1.5 seconds + magic damage like a bomb that will detonate wherever the enemies are

the revamp kagura isn't that bad just require some patience and good timing (and the effects are really cool just need the SFX)
That 1.5 seconds delay can change everything. Sure, it can deal higher damage but damage is useless if the enemy can be able to escape from it which is why i’m still for the 60% slow effect + additional damage from kags links. But brilliant explanation. Now i know that kagura is not entirely nerfed after all.

I can see a new meta with a petrify Kagura. That would make a good set while doing the combo without getting any damage. Also, Ice Wand item will be a new option for her. Either way, a shift in item build and spell build will sure come for Kagura users. 😇
if you choose ice wand, you wont need Petrify honestly. the ice wand will reduce the slot for another higher damage item.

I will still use kagura.. She is multi-role hero. She can still play the dash-in-dash-out, poke and burst at the same time. She is still an assasin-support-mage burst for me..
The old one has slow so it's quite useful but the new one is great, new opportunities and new challenges :)))

Hello Hororo Chan, maybe you don't read my comment, because it sounds ridiculous or you just ignore it, but it is better to write it xd
First of all, Kagura's revamp seems good to muschos, and to others bad or directly an intermediate (as it is in my case), Kagura was already asking for a revamp, but I don't know if she needed it to the point of leaving her a little vulnerable, in the global server, Kagura can defend herself against an Assassin, Shooter, Wizard and the odd Combatant, but now with the revamp she is very vulnerable, thanks to the new ultimate that takes 1 or 2 seconds to activate (Which causes the kill, because the ultimate does not do instant damage to kill the enemy before they kill Kagura).
Well even that is my point of view, and besides that I have affection for Kagura
