- So with the recent Kagura revamp there were many players complaining about it.
Was it really a nerf?
Did she got weaker after the revamp?
Before we make any assumptions let's check the facts first.
We can do that by comparing both versions to see the real changes.

@@kenjimikki7064 nah she's fine trust me there's more heroes that gain too much for little skill like eudo and saber which skills should be nerfed in the early game to compensate for the total shutdown of any carry in one match.
Ikr. She was already broken. So fucking hard to kill. They should remove her purify or else she can play the uno reverse card when assassins jump on her.

@@marzuramarzura3203 Makes her unreasonably hard to kill. I’m an assassin main and there were many times I jumped on her and she pulled the uno reverse card and killed me instead bc of the purify. That’s for assassins that rely on their slow to kill
Legit guys, on advance server you Kagura's combo is so much faster, you can't even see her umbrella because the moment you notice her, you are already dead. As a Kagura main, I think her ult looks like Tigreal's ult with insane cc damage.
Of course its faster its one of her features in her revamp. Its already legit since the first glimpse of her revamp. I already saw how op she is with or without slow. You can say that to people who complained her revamped.

Eudora was nerfed but still using her right now. Jungler Xborg was nerf, still using him in previous games but i never complained. How is that? The one thing i complained is bad teammates that's all thank you ahhahah.

As a Kagura main, this revamp is so good. Almost every single time I try to pull enemies with her ultimate, they easily get away since it's so slow. This is a very nice revamp. It's not overdone and it's also not lazy. I'll probably use her a lot again when the revamp comes to the official server.

The reason why the damage is still the same is,Moonton only nerf the magic power(which is her damage input)..the damage output remains the same,as they only nerf the magic power percentage which grants her additional damage from the item
but elgin is using mage emblem

@@KiyeHid and I believe there's only magic PEN and movement speed..and the damage from the emblem are stated as output damage..
Yup heythere is right, the damage from emblem is counted as base stat, the magic scaling comes from artificial magic damage such as items, retri effects, or encourage boost.

As a Kagura main, i'd say that this revamp is insanely good. I've been complaining about the ss, the 3 seconds pull time, its kinda frustrating

I really love this new revamp kagura and I hope this revamp kagura will be at the highest rank choices.

nope...this revamp lowered her difficulty which mean even low-skilled/low elo players now can play them.
also, she's probably getting a nerf soon after entering original server.
Sounds disappointing to you, but whenever I used Kagura I hate Zilong as an opponent.
Zilong is literally super easy to counter with kag wtf

It's so good for me because you can pull all enemies so fast not unlike the older one it's hard you need to wait if enemy is so far.

For me as a Kagura main I can say that the revamp Kagura looks Cool though but I like her old face because her face In Revamp Looks More Older and also the color of the eyes From blue to red 😐

Ngl i would miss the old ult flower effect.
But this is more effective tbh since you can't waste the ult and be forced to deal a substantially lower amount of damage

The only nerf I see for Kagura is the change on her umbrella's design. It's no longer a Yin-Yang symbol and got replaced with flowers

I'm excited for all the revamped heroes.... I play three of them (Haya, Lance, Kagura) regularly. I'll try to play Odette regularly after the revamp..... And super excited about Aamon
Moonton be giving revamp buffs to characters who already have among the highest average win rates while they casually forget that Vexana still has the lowest pick rate AND win rate

The revamp kagura is better than old kagura.
I honestly don't think it's a nerf, neither a buff it's a change of strengths, the links have more range than the new umbrella area pull, and the higher slow effect ofc, basically now she has less cc but a higher chase capability thanks to the faster umbrella, the new pull and the larger range. I'm afraid that she might become a commonly banned hero, before a flicker or purify would be enough to get rid of her but now with the higher chasing ability she's going to become a real pain specially since she can do the combo instantly, stunning the enemies during the whole process
I love the string on her ultimate. In her revamp, it looks weaker but actually higher damage
I actually really like kaguras changes. I mean yeah they nerfed her first skill's damage but they made up for it by increasing her first skills radius, speed, and hitbox. That's like one small Nerf in exchange for 3 buffs. Seems good to me. And also her red ult is still pretty good too. It might not slow the enemy as much as before but you'll still have a chance to catch them like Elgin was saying.
For me she got stronger , but for her voicelines... well it got nerfed I love the Shogyo Mogyo thing of her

since her playstyle is like an assassin, im curious if the revamped ver can use twinblades... I tried in original server, but the result isn't that good
No basic atk is needed though
I would rather build S.Twinblade on Zhask than on Kagura
Shadow Twinblade is ABSOLUTELY NOT recommended for Kagura
What the fuck? Assasin playstyle? She's aoe, nothing like assassin, this is for eudora and Aurora, and twin blades makes no fucking sense AT ALL, sorry

They don't even have escape skill like Kagura so they don't even considered as assassin playstyle, while Kagura you will just hide the bush and kill 1 or 2 target then escape that's why she has assassin playstyle like Harley, kill and escape while Eudora and Aurora only just kill. srry for bad English.

@@holasoydora6522 i'm not using her since revamp. The string ultimate way more fun compare to her new ultimate. Plus this is 2 years ago. As for now her umbrella range got shorten a lot. She is my favourite hero before revamp tho. And her image changing a lot, i like her old version image than now.
I was already liking the other revamp Kagura before they put it back, But since it's back, I might aswhile practice Kagura in Official again.

it's a buff actually, her umbrella moves as fast as light and her damage is really high, her ult is easier to use too but we will still miss ' shogyo mogyo ' :) and kagura is still one of the best mages in mlbb ♡

The 3 seconds pull is already good, so you won't be force to rush and complete the combo during clashing. It gives you time to position yourself before using the second skill to teleport to the umbrella

If Kagura is rushing to execute a combo the she will lose her potential as poke hero during clash
So true, with the 3secs ult, you can prepare a proper timing to secure a kill during clash😂😂.
True.... Teleporting to the umbrella during a clash is already dangerous enough.... Even more when you're doing it in a hurry just to do the combo even if you're position is so bad..... You might even die embarrassingly in the process 🔥🔥
The slower delay of the red ulti pulling enemies in was important because it bought time for Kagura to let her first skill reset again after the 1-3-1-2-3 combo which is followed by '1' IF it was the old kagura since the extra 3 seconds on old ult vs the 1.5 secs on new ult meant she had 1.5 secs to wait for the enemy to be pulled in before she combos. Now after revamp1-3-1-2-3 your cd on first skill is still 2 seconds which means u cant do it right after anymore.
I'm just glad they listened to my feedback on her new costume design and gave her a bow in her hair and made the kimono sleeves look authentic and also made her belt in front with details :D

in my opinion it has become alot weaker than last time, but it's more easy to use for new players now, but if you are a kagura player that dont rly miss skill, this will be a nerf for them

Better ult and longer range for less damage,as a Kagura main this revamp is good for me. The new changes make her alot stronger at harassing and her ult is so much better than the old slow ultimate that literally any hero with 1 dash can escape from.

She has higher ult damage on the revamped version because the magic scaling passive of Holy Crystal is already fixed in her. It has been a bug so long ago, and it is only fixed now in her revamp.

@@atpray Ohh didn't know that. But yeah, the bug being finally fixed really adds up to her damage if Kag has Holy Crystal.
As a kagura user I can definitely say that this is a buff for her especially the longer radius of her first skill and the new ultimate skill which can help during team fights because it doesn't need the strings anymore to pull the enemy and stun them. Sorry if their are some wrong grammar because I'm really dumb in English heheheh
You know what, imma get attacked for saying this. But Kagura revamp is actually one of the much better revamps we've had in a long time. They kept the Kagura essence yet made her even more optimised to how gameplay is in ML
Yeah it's true. But something makes me feel like Kagura's gonna be more harder or more more of a trouble to deal with now.
@@TheHeavieKiwie yep. The only thing that even remotely stopped kagura back then was her slow combo with purple s3. Though, her slow effect was the biggest problem, so now that the slow effect is lesser, it should be a bit easier to run at least, though AGAIN her s3 can now move wherever it wants to without unlinking from the enemy like it used to.
Nah, Yss revamp is the best. He still sit well in META after his revamp until today.

They fixed her. Good thing they did. Cause when they first released her revamp, it was really a nerf for me.

New kagura is disappointing
Her design is much worse and her entrance animation looks so childish doesn't fit her Astehthics at all. They obviously wanted to make her cuter but we already have so many cute heroes like nana Angela Chang'e
I don't think it fits her. I will say she is obviously much stronger but that is also not a good thing either.
Kagura will be a permanent ban and will probably receive a very large Nerf afterwards.

I agree more adjusting means more practising I've been practicing here since her released date I've saw the perfection in her skills the way her difficulties works and the skill's mechanics the animations was so good the displays was flawless... I don't know why moontoon needed to revamp her even she's perfect enough well.. Still waiting for vexana's revamp its gonna take long but I'll wait 😔

Yes🙂..... the umbrella longer range bothers me a lot, but the thing i like about the longer range it makes kagura impossible to be closed with the enemy, especially for fighters

Her damage in 1st skill was already nerfed, so I think Kagura now is very balanced. Maybe they could nerf her 1st skill range, but I think that would maker her revamp as shit as Argus and the other ones

That pull up is quite good as long as you can chase the enemy within that range.
Now that i see her pull on her ult do damage i can finally sleep
i think by taking considerations on less dmg prior to cc effect is balance for me since buffing kagura even further would only result of instant nerfing due to constant banning.

Many season ago, before Lunox arrived, she was once the top pick for mages.. and she still is until now. Her skills are cool. You have damage and blink

But the delay is a fair trade. She's OP if you're playing with a team.

She's more easy to use and im gonna play her more often when project next arrives! I think give a buff on her normal ult and when they get pushed a stun will occur within 1.5 seconds. And gain movement speed for 2 seconds on her second skill when she finishes dashing
She don't need a stun on her ult she is perfectly fine where she is on the advanced server now
have you checked out the 2nd skill trying to get out of cc? i think there is a bug. where you can still be affected by cc.

1.5sec delay on umbrella open ultimate is sooo good
And bcuz of the new larger radius u can chase enemies faster and with the higher ult dmg u can get kills faster and they didn't even removed the ultimate CDR when she uses her ult so u can still chase the enemies with the pull plus they made the umbrella faster So i don't really complain since it just made her FROM QUEEN TO GODDESS SO YEAH IT'S A NICE REVAMP!

I personally like the revamp more than the old one because the link mechanic is easily escaped by heroes with dash
I’m a Kagura main and honestly this revamp has given a lot of benefits in the hero, I struggle with Kagura’s ult and it’s when I can’t get close enough to pull the hero at first so they get to escape, but with the new range and how her new ult can pull a hero even if I didn’t hit them at first I can easily avoid them from running away, I like this new update and I can’t wait to try it, but when will the revamp be released in the official servers?
And I’ll be honest, I think it made Kagura stronger, since it avoids mistakes a lot of kagura mains make and it’s very useful, her animations are more pretty and creative

It's the Pulling time That makes it so bad. We do Wait for the whole 3 sec pull so we can have our skills ready (blue 2nd skill) or to wait for teammates or to check if there are enemies around
