Thank you for all the videos, keeping us entertained throughout these strange times. It has been an odd year, especially when the first lockdown was lifted and we were allowed to do things again, no one knew what to expect. I think for the most part, (merlin) theme parks did pretty okay. It seems the few problems we ran into was securing tickets (as merlin pass holders, it was very frustrating not being able to get tickets, but could purchase them full price, no problem) and despite there being a "limited capacity" it never really felt that way. Also, the uncertainty of it all was a great stress. My husband and I booked an Alton towers getaway for scarefest for 3 nights back in August, and were constantly worried everything would be shut down again. Very grateful we got to have our trip to Alton towers, we only visit once a year as it's a 5 hour drive for us. Once again, thank you for the updates and keeping us entertained.
You are a good Man Shaun because you are helping see all these small parks around the country that need our help getting on their feet after Corona virus
I hope they keep the food stalls permanently on the lawn. It was such a good addition this season. I was there for Oktoberfest and Scarefest and it was great. Roll on next season! "TPWW on RUclips!"

i went to alton towers on scarefest as me and my 2 siblings have merlin passes we went on rita so many times as me and my siblings have disabled access passes we went on my fav ride of all time so many times THE SMILER we absolutely love the park and we go all the time. i really hope merlin bring a new family coaster to the park soon as i think it would be a great addition
Thanks for so many ideas this year, particularly enjoyed the daily videos around the UK and surely the highlight was your series restoring the bookworm. After watching this Alton Towers video I have decided that in 2021 I shall give all the coasters that I had dismissed as too rough or not enjoyable just one more try. Yes, I do miss some of the banter and cheekiness that used to be on the channel but you and Charlotte have done a great job of remaining positive and things sometimes have to change. I think the way you shoot the coasters in the videos and some of the amazing sunset photos you've posted on Twitter recently are superb. Thankfully, Alton Towers is NOT closing indefinitely but judging by the lockdown, I dont think theme parks will be open over the winter - I think parks will start to reopen mid-April if I'm being honest. Just a shame that there are quite a few people out their not following the rules, not social distancing which I hate with a passion and those who dont control the virus, and to add to that a priminister who hasn't been ideal with acting on this so late on both occasions - I'm always knew this second wave was going to end up with another national Lockdown but never predicted it this late, we should really have been in Lockdown since early October and hopefully starting to gradually re-open stuff mid-November ready for Christmas but sadly not. Great vlog again Shawn, your positivity you soar throughout your channel despite the current situation cheers all of us up and words can't describe how thankful we are that you keep making great content entertaining all of us! Hopefully the world will be back to semi-normal once a vaccine is found available to everyone!

I did manage to visit this year when Oktoberfest was on, and it was the first time my 2 year old little girl visited the park, she was loving cbeebies land, we also spent two night onsite in the splash landing hotel, with friends which was really good, hopefully next year we will be able to get in more than one visit. I have really enjoyed your videos this year. Keep up the good work. Take care over lock down

My husband and I have been going to Alton Towers scarefest since we were teenage sweethearts at the age of 16, (we are now 28), last year I was pregnant with our daughter so it was the first time we hadn't gone, little did we know we wouldn't be going the year after , genuinely feels like we've lost a little of ourselves to this COVID, not so sure we'll be going next year either 💔. Can anyone remember what the scaremaze made of corn was called? (It was years ago!) We went through a warehouse where we had to lie on the ground then run for our lives to a cabin in the middle of the maze. It was officially the scariest maze they ever did!

I love that alot of the rides there are kind of a darker, scary theme we don't really have a lot of those in the United States on a year round basis.

Missed you at alton towers, was there last week for a few days. It was so good, glad to make the trip down this year! Do Alton towers not let you do POV's if its secured properly? or it it a complete no go?

My husband and I have been going to Alton Towers scarefest since we were teenage sweethearts at the age of 16, (we are now 28), last year I was pregnant with our daughter so it was the first time we hadn't gone, little did we know we wouldn't be going the year after , genuinely feels like we've lost a little of ourselves to this COVID, not so sure we'll be going next year either 💔. Can anyone remember what the scaremaze made of corn was called? (It was years ago!) We went through a warehouse where we had to lie on the ground then run for our lives to a cabin in the middle of the maze. It was officially the scariest maze they ever did!
The corn maze was called Field Of 1000 Screams!
So gutted. Booked for 14th. 😢. Stay safe!!
