Goku fulfilled the legend of the super saiyan when he became the first saiyan in a thousand years to unleash such a power. This transformation was hyped up all throughout the namek arc with vegeta constantly dropping hints as to what it was under his understanding. Every Saiyan since then has achieved super saiyan and it became easier and easier to get it, but what if the legend was different? What if only one saiyan could achieve the super saiyan every thousand years? In other words, What if Goku was the only super saiyan?

Funny how in a video called "What If GOKU was the ONLY Super Saiyan?" literally the first thing that happens is a second Super Saiyan shows up XD
Here’s the thing I don’t change the future timeline in my what if. Simple as that. And the main reason here is because say we do change it. Goku comes back dies of the heart virus, z fighters and vegeta die, gohan dies early without SSJ, and trunks dies too. That’s wraps on the story. That’s why.
@@SaiyanMotion couldn't goku after seeing tha damage done by androids come from dead and for one day and go back in past, it could happen. and this way it is better cause vegeta dosen't have too see his son in SS while he himself can never achieve it. And be canon to the what if.
@@SaiyanMotionyou could just argue that the legend is transferred to whatever Saiyan after the previous super Saiyan dies. Gohan would likely achieve super Saiyan as he did in his timeline, but still be too weak. Causing Trunks to go super Saiyan.
And since Trunks is the only super Saiyan in HIS timeline, it shouldn’t affect alternate timelines. That’s how I thought of it at least.
Vegeta could still learn ultra ego and ultra instinct because those forms have nothing to do with super sayian forms

he rejected ultra ego though too, because he realized it wasn't his stule and because he can't revert to being that evil person he was. i think he'll either continue with saiyan forms by evolving them, or use ultra instinct. that being said i personally would hope for the former. or maybe he'll just find some third thing, or maybe he'll just have to start disregarding his morals or something idk.
@@spacehunternebulanm7003 have u been keeping up with the manga? Vegeta hasnt rejected ultra ego at all. He's fully embraced it pretty much. Ultra ego is his path.

I see a few problems with getting the super saiyan god ritual to work. in fact, with goku defeating cell sooner, it would mean no Mr. Satan becoming the saviour of earth for defeating cell and videl wouldn't be that interested in fighting crime or in gohan so videl wouldn't be pregnant with pan.
also, since goku wouldn't die fighting cell, gohan would keep his training even if he can't reach super saiyan training with his father would give him quite a power boost. evidently, gohan would get beaten by golden freeza but would be able to hold far more than in the canon.

You forgot that mastered super saiyan increases super saiyan's power. And even if you don't agree with that, it highly increases the user's base power. So Goku at his base would be equal with vegeta at his max kaioken (like times 50x), and piccolo's level was a little bit wrong. But, other than that, nice job.

Unlocking "latent potential" like in the frieza saga could be another way to make vegeta stronger.
Also, my birthday is coming up on the 15th. I have an idea for a scenario which is if one TFS dub character was in DBZ with the canon characters. I mean there isn’t one. The point of the what it is to make something that doesnt happen originally so we just alter something. If you need something, the SSJ of legend can only be achieved by one person, but it’s kinda js how a what if works. The thing ur changing doesn’t exactly need that typa explanation mainly cuz there isn’t one 🫡
Trunks doesn't need to be a ssj for the what if to continue past Mecha Frieza
Remember, there's the timeline where Trunks wasn't born yet and couldn't intervene when Frieza arrived yet this timeline persists till the androids so Trunks can grow up and then go back in the past

Goku said he could sense the energies on earth when Trunks fights Frieza and Goku has IT by this point
The moment Goku senses Frieza on Earth then he would IT to earth to stop him and King Cold (this is what had to have happened in the original timeline)
I was looking for this comment because Goku still kills them in the future timeline and all trunks needed to do was bring the medicine when the fight was over and even if Trunks died in the future for not being a ssj future Bulma could have done it
so trunks from the future came to the past, ended up killing freezeman, something something time paradox, no more super saiyans, thats why goku can be the only one... keepo

if its not OG trunks with SSJ jumping into the what if timeline, then think abt it, how would trunks survive? My logic in all my what ifs is to keep the future timeline the same and let the what if only affect the main timeline. Say we follow the normal story, goku dies, the z fighters die, and no way gohan makes it that long without ssj, and then trunks eventually dies too.

Vegeta would just be in a constant loop of training until he gets to Goku’s level which is not possible. But couldn’t the Dragon Balls be used to grant the transformation?

why would vegeta need kaioken to beat pui pui though? pui pui is weak enough to think walking in 10x gravity is impressive. goku trained in 100g on the way to namek. vegeta is FAR stronger than that by the time babidi and dabura arrive
also i think vegeta could have gotten some sort of god + ultimate form for super because a lot of people do that for their stories... but not wanting to *really* cover super is understandable

I was wondering about a what if.
What if Goku stayed in Super Saiyan ? the cell saga having super sayian as a new base form would have been intresting maybe even taking any power drain off super sayian 3, since goku would be mastering super sayian 1 and 2, and 3 being a last resort power up, but it seems more like super sayian in the begining of the android saga still needing a bit of effort to go into but not as much.

Id disagree with vegeta being weaker since ultimate unlocks ur latent power and this would allow him to surpass goku by a huge amount.

i mean goku trains js as much as vegeta tho. Vegeta js got his year a bit later than goku did, but goku still trained in the time chamber. I feel like vegetas base would be stronger but it would be VERY close. Like miniscule difference since goku is focusing on SSJ as well

Well the timeline featuring this What If has only 1 Super Saiyan but Trunks' timeline is a separate and always exists in every what if (kinda) so he is still a Super Saiyan there and so was Vegeta, Goku, etc.
I explained it. The way I was writing I originally wasn’t gonna give it to him but then I realized how that would mess things up later down the road without trunks so I wrote it differently. And I do think continuity matters here
Vegeta would have been way stronger. Ultimate would allow him to push Kaioken a lot higher than x100 as a maximum. And Ultimate with Super Saiyan God by itself would put him at Blue Evolution easily. Kaioken at this point, at times 100, pushes him close to Goku's level at the first use of UI Omen.
Why would having ultimate make him be able to take kaioken furher lol. They’re 2 entirely different things. But the thing is you have to remember vegeta is not gohan. Gohan had wayy more potential. God would make vegeta stronger than ultimate would and I left it open saying vegeta would use techniques to his advantage. I didn’t say he wouldn’t combine ultimate and god, it’s possible 🌝

This story doesn't make sense because you said there could only be 1 Super Saiyan but Trunks is a Super Saiyan. Goku should be the only Super Saiyan.
I said that if trunks isnt a SSJ than the story ends. My logic is that I never change the future timeline in my what ifs. Say we change the future timeline, goku dies of the heart virus (he didnt get it from yardrat watch a video on it), and the others die, gohan eventually dies sooner without ssj, and trunks dies without ssj. Theres no traveling back in time, the story ends peace. Thats why I kept trunks a SSJ so the future timeline stays the same, I only alter the main timeline in my what ifs

Vegeta’s potential isn’t nearly as high as gohans. Ultimate isn’t gonna do for him what it did for gohan. And SSG vegeta is gonna be stronger than his ultimate version obv. That’s js levels of power, again he isn’t gohan.

Ssj is 50x Base
Ssj2 is 2x Ssj so 100x Base
Ssj3 is 4x Ssj2 so 400x Base
This means for Kaioken x100 to be stronger than or even counteract Ssj3 Vegeta needs a BASE 4x stronger than Goku's Base
Base Vegeta = Base Goku
Ssj Goku >Kaioken x2- x20
Ssj Goku = Kaioken x50 Vegeta
Ssj2 Goku = Kaioken x100 Vegeta
This means
Ssj3 > Kaioken x100
So Vegeta would need either a 4x stronger Base or a Kaioken x400

You forget a kaioken x20 is super strains on goku not bc he didt train for longer it’s bc he is a mortal the kaioken is not meant for alive mortals Vegeta would only get x30 by pure luck alone and ssj1 has a x100 so to say vegita in x50 can make goku have to go ssj2 is stupid and the Kai’s would not train vegita and he would need ssj to use god ki not to be rude you need to learn a lot more before making some so wrong and and stupid as this video
