He sure is a different person now days. After he almost died of an overdose he realized that that life wasn't worth living and he need to take care and put a good example to his children. Be sure he is happy with his now girlfriend China Chow and rocking on tours across the US and Europe. By the way, I was so grateful to experience a live concert in Mexico City back in 2019. Pure Joy, my favorite singer!
Yeah I totally agree with you here. I love Billy Idol and think deep down he is a good person but as you say, drug addictions coupled with sex addiction took its toll and the early to mid nineties were his worst. He just went completely off the rails. When you listen to him now he is so different, calmer and more introspective. He always had that side, the real William Broad.
