Your additions match the intonation of the original tracks perfectly, so they naturally suit the game's theme. It's basically a perfect addition, and it's great that it comes packaged with the game now. And for free! Awesome
Exceptional quality and hits exactly the point of art and concept of the game. So so proud that there are still artists who understand the core concept of things and adding stuff that is not worse than the original. Original soundtrack, however, is a true masterpiece
It is really awesome. Makes unreal vibe of Warzone 2100 and just war. Just a wonderful! Can't even believe what i am just listening warzone soundtracks for long months. My favs are 25 (so fucking nice..) 24, 20 and 19 really wonderful, 14 and finally 9. It's just mind-blowing! Thank you!
I wish that some day warzone 2100 gets more revelation! and obviously, good musics you made, it reminds a lot of warzone's post apocalyptic environment
I was trying to figure out why I kept thinking of WZ2100 whenever I listened to the Homeworld soundtrack. Now that I listened to this again, I'm realizing that they have a similar feeling ambiance to them.
To be honest, that's what I had in mind when I started working on most of the new tracks. They feel so eerie and at the same time, depending on the moments, uncertain with just a little touch of hope.
Greetings from Russia, mate. I am listening to this (and Legacy as well) all day long, every week, as it makes me to focus on something important. But since we both make stuff for games, especially in terms of music, I decided to say... THANK YOU A LOT. You inspired me to create something that I was dreaming of for so long... So yeah, keep it coming, see you in other great projects! P. S.: I really did not see you in subscriptions, you subbed so long ago, lol.
Been really loving this game having not played it since it came out on the PS1. Would love to see this play out on a tv series streaming service. Military commanders trying to find pre war technology. Give it a creepy horror vibe in the style of the book of Eli but make the main characters likeable and noble.
It's for the freeware version, they'll be included in it as soon as we integrate the Opus libraries, but until then, you can get them from the Discord channel. 👍
You can try that out via Art Revolution project. MaNGusT and Jorzi are still updating it to this day: sourceforge.net/projects/artrev2100/ Version 4.0.1 will work with the latest releases from Warzone 2100 4.0.0-beta2 onwards.
Really good quality stuff that does fit WZ2100 damn well ! Aside that, I also do wonder how one made that 'Stack Trace by srtuss' in the description work. I really would like to use it for personal projects and whatnot but due to probably compiler errors of the website it doesnt work. So I might ask here what or how much has been changed to make it work. Answer for that would be appreciated !
Heyo! The thing is, I'm using the Stack Trace template that's [I think] already compiled and shipped with ZGame Editor Visualizer. From what I've gathered, a lot of people are having problems with the compiler errors of the website, or just a random glitch that somehow borks the entire script. If you have Discord, join the Warzone 2100 server, ping me, and I'll DM you the [what I believe is] C/C++ script for it.
Was the soundtrack of the game just a sequential list that could just have more added to the folder with appropriate name & numbering? If so, did the original code also allow for that or was that just an obvious convenience for those wonderful rebuilders to add? Because i can't help noticing all the tracks have the .ogg
Heh, indeed we DID have that particular list, "music.wpl". And yes, you just had to insert the name of the music file and the extension ".ogg". The ".ogg" part is due to the open-source nature of the post-NEWST/Pumpkin-2 builds. They had to use a container that was both free and compatible with the GPL license, hence the ".ogg" files instead of the original ".wav" files. So they managed to code it in, as in that period of time, the guys didn't had access to the original ".wav" files... [they weren't liberated... yet]. Another note, ".mp3" files 'could've' been played, technically, as long as you had the proper libraries installed but it was a hit or miss, hence why everyone sticked to the ".ogg" container. Funny story behind it, in multiplayer, sometimes, when you tried to add more songs, it usually cycled through them, and when it tried to replay the whole list, it just spat out an error and stopped the music altogether. Triggered me so many times... 😡 You weren't going out of sync either, you just had to play the rest of the multiplayer match, without music... 😱
Glad to hear people are still making music for this game. Quality stuff, keep it up.
hey you're that ancient warhammer meme guy, thanks for making those. i laughed at them alot when i was 13 (i am now 24)
We couldn't triangulate so we quadralatlized pentagonally

Do you have a Splogify account where these can be played?
No Splogify as of yet 😅 maybe... someday...
@@LupusMechanicusYT would be cool to see
why Launch Code sound exactly the same as Gloom (C&C Tiberian Sun)?.. mmmm
Because Jarrid Mendelson's Gloom is an amazing song 🔥
