Jesus. Thought I was watching the blair witch project. 😂 I would have lasted 5 mins out there.
File this under Advanced Knife Bro: The Deep Cuts
Almost literally...deep into his hand 9:14
That is some very scary axe work, i mean advanced and shit, but still scary.
I’d watch more of those…as long you bring your normal sunny disposition with you👍🏻😂
This video needs more views. I'm just happy you married her because giving her the idea of walking in the middle of the forest when it's cold, well.. that's.. that's a red flag. Lol. ♥️🍻
For short hikes of a few miles to a camping spot (especially one I'm staying at for more than one night) I don't mind packing a saw, foresters axe, and a couple knives, but once I'm doing more than 10-20 miles a day, for multiple days, across challenging/technical terrain anything more than a folder is getting the side-eye if I'm hauling it around.
I'm here for all your knife-adjacent content. Keep it comin'. Still waiting for your next beer review. I'll be patient.
Advanced Primitive Camping Bro?
wait wait...are you tellin me the SHRIMP fried the rice?!
Love your channel man. You're almost at 100k dude, congrats! Keep it up
More of this.
I feel my knifetude advancing already.
Can't wait to watch this on my lunch break!!
This is a great change of pace. Nice seeing you go back to your origins of video format 👍
🎉❤👍went camping last night - luv the vid my man- cabin was stacked compared to some of the ones I've been to
That brought back memories of my New Years camping trip of ‘01-‘02 or ‘02-‘03 It was miserable. Bitter cold for Alabama, ice and sleet. Trying to keep a fire going with wet wood, waking up with icicles dripping on my face from condensation building up inside the tent. Good times
Advanced hike bro! Love it.
this was cool. would like to see more
Dude this is brilliant.
I wish my name "Sugar Knob". I would be sooo happy.
So many chances to baton and only axe work?! Green AKB is so different.
I don’t think I owned a big fixed blade other than the Kukri at this point. Times have changed
How can one be so advanced, and yet, so primitive?
Interesting question
It's a big circle maaan...
As above so below, snakes eating tails n' stuff.
Glad that your narration helped me keep my cool. 😅
I'd watch, and enjoy watching more of this. But then, I am probably not normal. 😂
Great variety content! More pls
Beer should always be prioritized pack-wise
That's why I like to carry Whisky instead, because it has a better alcohol / weight ratio. Or any other Schnaps of your liking. You could even pack some Gin and then mix it with water and put in a couple of cucumber slices.
Just buy dehydrated beer, or do your own in the oven

I've hiked and camped a lot in this area. Bear and deer hunters are fairly common. Probably a good idea to wear bright color. I always put a little orange doggie vest on my dog. It's a cool area, sometimes a bit spooky when you get way out there.
Reminds me of when I was in Boy Scouts. We used old military surplus alice packs. So those backpacks look modern compared to those.
And yes, that old Nissan mighta been an old POS, but it beat walking!
OMG an axe in the thumbnail! This gonna be good!
Great video
Finally got around to finishing this up and I gotta ask...were those Swiss army wool pants your better half was sporting? Best surplus item ever.
Nope they were hiking pants. Don’t remember which ones. I don’t think she has them anymore- probably REI and a technical fabric.
AKBro had many a story to tell. But it was a rare occasion such as this that he did.
That vista is stunning. I'd never see something like that in my region/climate (not that I do "outdoors" stuff; oh no not in my disgusting climate). Love the vid too, prime viewing for those parasocial vibes 😊.
0:42 Whoah PM2 with the jade G10 scales on the table!
Love them there leather stacked Estwings.
Slicy, indestructible, sexy & affordable.
That’s cool .. 😎 I enjoyed this one
Dude i love you man you and pete the only knife people keeping me interested in knives nowadays.send you one the few knives that got me excited past...shit year half prolly and that being the bark river pig sticker i'll send to you to make a vidier?send to pete after?just gonna sit in my safe if not.
Love to see a review of the Victorinox venture, thanks
Me too.
I've been furiously pillow humping for years now at the fantasy of Mora offering full flat grinds to their conventional lineup.
I think Vicky's answered the call...kinda.
This was actually incredibly relaxing to watch....DO YOUR RESEARCH!!!!!
YES! Its the AKB video I've been waiting for!
And by that, I just mean I've been waiting for an AKB video.
Cool 😊
Advanced Knife Bro telling me not to bring a sword... Say it ain't so!
Note to self, I need to go out and buy a sword. I wonder if Buck makes one?
Got a butt ugly holler-ground hole filled Buckmaster in 420 that you can reserve for $799.
No swords yet...
But they've attempted to resurrect the uber cool Buckmaster of Yesteryear.
They've fortunately maintained all the original not-really-functionalness, with a hole filled holler ground slicy bit, while effectively removing every shred of sexy John Ramboness.
Taking reserve orders now @ 799!!
Advanced Blair Witch Bro when?
Yeah for me it’s when you’re talking about weight, hiking in…..jeans. Oh there’s the warning there yupp.
I didn’t even get into the “hiking boots” I was wearing at the time.
This reminds me of some found footage horror
Bear meat depending what they eat are very good to eat. Lots of them here in Washington. Can’t hound em tho.
When I Google Sugarknob, should I leave safe search enabled?
Family first ...... then battoning
I never liked home movies, since I have already lived through it. But that's me I guess.
You were drinking PBR back in 2012? You might have started the hipster beer trend.
Before that. Maybe like 2005? I can’t remember when but it was between 2000-2007
Has a Blair Witch vibe. Nice.
Yep. They “tree” them and shoot them in the tree. Same as raccoon hunting. (Sigh) Regulated hunting is super-critical to effective wildlife management in pretty much every ecosystem where management is necessary. But that kind of hunting never appealed to me.
Although I could say the same about an elk, and many other creatures, bears are just too magnificent for me to harvest. I made a deal with bears: as long as they don’t hunt me, I won’t hunt them.
Absolutely. I get the need for management- and agree with it. I come from where bears are rare so they are managed heavily. If we don’t manage like that- humans can easily wipe them out. Like we’ve done in the past with so many. I don’t hunt much anymore, just mainly fish- but to me the letting the dogs do the work takes the sport out of it. And it’s my hope that the bear meat is eaten.
A real man hunts a bear with nothing but his knife and Filipino footwork. Also...Sugar Knob...heh.
This guy gets it
Personality is often what you’re really selling. Doesn’t matter what you review. You could review some gas station food and I’d be a great time.
Don’t forget Surviving the Game with ICE-T. Ugh.
Trama bonding
I always hated hunting, it's so unnecessary where I live. I'd rather grow some taters n stuff.
I don’t mind hunting, have hunted, know hunters, but there’s a limit.
@@AdvancedKnifeBro I agree with the limit part. For me personally to go hunting it would have to be absolutely necessary. I know some hunters too, but it's just nothing for me.
Hunting certain humans though, that's what tickles my jam. But only in a legal setting of course!
I’m envious, BRO…🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🫀👹
