Maybe for Lord Slug, Namek was already in a civil war between Slug and Guru's forces with Slug figuring he should be the new ruler of the planet rather than some fat oaf who sits on his throne all day. When Frieza and his forces invaded, Slug used this chaotic opportunity to go off-world alongside his warriors to find another planet to conquer, setting their sights on Earth. Maybe he knew of Katas aka the Nameless Namekian's father, hence why he chose Earth. Goku's not going to stay in the hospital during this conflict, Yajirobe gives him the Senzu Bean right away to join the fight as they need all the help they can get. In the fight against this evil Namekian, Goku taps into Semi-Super Saiyan aka the stepping stone to the true transformation upon seeing his planet in danger. Now with Slug's forces destroyed, the others don't need to go on separate ships to get to Namek, the Z-Fighters can just take Slug's giant vessel instead.
I've been dying to talk to someone about this since Masakox dropped his Ultimate Universe concept where the cannon doppelgangers stories switched places with their cannon counterparts. I had so many ideas on how this could go back then!

I just now realised something. Why in the fuck didn't Goku tell Gohan and Bulma to go hide inside the house? Maybe Raditz would never had the Chance to kidnap Gohan. The whole Z Story would have been possibly effected by this

If I could ask, how would Raditz know what happened to Planet Vegeta’s destruction? He didn’t know it was Frieza who did it, it was told to him that a meteor did it that wiped out all the Saiyans. Probably the only ones who’s practically “in the know” is Vegeta and Nappa.
@RichDXtreme247 it's said in the show that Vegeta always thought Frieza was lying. So I'm sure in the 20 years after it's destruction Vegeta would have said his piece at least once

I like your approach to this story so far. I like how you changed Piccolo's story to delayed to be better explored in future stories than all planted in a single arc and offscreen development. Garlic jr and Piccolo jr, I really like that dynamic. Garlic jr could become the official Guardian of Earth and immortal, meanwhile Piccolo can rule the lower realms of Earth with an iron fist, both accomplishing their Father's ambitions. I never even considered an alliance, but that's really clever! I don't mean to be overly critical, but to be constructive, I personally enjoy Masakox's storytelling approach better than the other Dragon Ball What If type videos that fixate on the powerlevels rather character moments and stories. This was good, but it felt like your attention could've been better placed elsewhere to make the video more immersive for the viewer like some character lines during meetings or impressions of one another's abilities, like the start of Gohan's and Piccolo's dynamic, even if just Piccolo being in awe of Gohan's power display.
Only real feedback I do have is to try and rerecord flubbed lines when you can, good job. I like that the Saiyans knew of the Mayokins that was a cool touch.
Little surprised that you didn't just have Yamcha and Krillin at Kame House or converge at the castle so they could have fights with the Spice Trio. I feel Toriyama would've had Yamcha and Tien conveniently coming across them during their Dragon Ball hunt and surprisingly bumping into their buddies. Even if last minute rescue or clean up the leftover villains.
Honestly with the success of Super Broly, Super/GT should have tried adapting the movies to be an actual story. Hell if Resurrection F had Cooler fans would be a little more forgiving of Frieza training for 4 months if Cooler was established to have been training while Frieza and Cold were dead. If they both became gold it would give Goku AND Vegeta someone to fight and allow Vegeta to actually get the win on Frieza since Goku would be busy with Cooler.
Nice job on the fanfiction, but you kept mispronouncing the name of Goku's brother. It's Raditz. I know he hasn't been a major DB character in hindsight, but he's still pretty darn important for being the guy who revealed Goku's backstory. Anyway I still like some of the old DBZ movies too, mainly the first 3 since they used to air them on Toonami all the time, especially during the time we were all waiting for the Funi dub to start while we kept getting re-runs of the Ocean dub. Cooler's Revenge was pretty good too. The first Z Broly movie used to be okay for me, but I've liked the DBS Broly movie a lot more since its release. At least they got rid of old Broly's pretty ridiculous reason for hating Goku/Kakarot, heh.

What if Gine Got the Future Sight? Since the Broly Movie and the Granolah saga have retconned the Dragon Ball Minus backstory for Bardock, why not give it to Gine? That mission to Kanessa where she's the one struck in the back of her neck by that fish psychic guy could've been what made her quit to become a cook. Of course, what she mistook to be PTSD-related hallucinations seem to be coming real, so she warns Bardock as they decide to sneak off Planet Vegeta possibly years before its inevitable destruction. They could then go anywhere. Yardrat, Namek, Beerus's planet, etc. What if the Heeters Raised Goku? In this timeline, Bardock went too hard on fighting Gas and killed him, which prompts Elec to use this as leverage against the Saiyan as this could be easily reported to Frieza and thus, Bardock's family will be executed in retaliation... unless Bardock offers up something in return. Fearing the life of his secondborn, he reluctantly gives Kakarot up to these people, but only if they promise to never let him return to Planet Vegeta. What if Bardock and Gine Broke Up? Here Bardock never spared Granolah or his mother, angering Gine so much she's going to take Kakarot and leave this wretched planet. Bardock is mad and threatens to blast her for going AWOL, but Gine steps forward and says, "If you never cared about me Bardock, take your shot." Bardock can't do it and steps aside to let her leave. Just like the first scenario, mother and son can go anywhere. What if Bulma Was Evil? Either the Red Ribbon Army absorbed Capsule Corp in a corporate hostile takeover which forces her to work for them under the name "Agent Cobalt" and thus go find the Dragonballs (which could then prompt her to convince Goku to fight them early) OR after the King Piccolo Arc, Bulma takes on a Lex Luthor role of protecting the planet from any otherworldly threat, which ends up being confirmed once Raditz arrives on Earth. What if Tights Joined the Red Ribbon Army? We don't hear much from Bulma's older sister, so what if thanks to being overshadowed by her younger sister by their father, Tights decides to work for the enemy out of jealousy. Who knows, maybe she can find Gevo (human Android 16) and get hitched to him and thus, help out Gero when he starts making the androids. What if Wheelo and Gero Teamed Up?
