I just wish Promos in Universe Mode would take itself more seriously, I mean in this video, Roman and Braun are talking up a big game but their body movements make them look like a bunch of jokes, and I can tell the crowd hasn't been improved from last year since all I'm hearing is a bunch of cheers and no boos.

The promo engine needs a new spit shit. I'm glad they made some improvements to the MyCareer mode, but honestly, that's just one mode. It alone can't carry the whole game, and honestly, I would prefer if the promo system could actually be used to tell custom stories between the wrestlers.
Yeah they could've tooken Promo system out...an gave us Popularity overall, merchandise sales an we keep track of who an what merch fans are buying at wwe shows ext ect...

Sure there's voice acting in MyCareer but their promos are a lot different than Universe's that it doesn't seem they're focusing heavily on the dialogue choices of Promo like Universe Mode. Voices for MyCareer works because it's more story-oriented, scripted, and planned out from beginning-to-end than the never-ending-story of Universe Mode. Why Universe Mode doesn't work is because you would need all of the real life WWE voice actors to voice their counterparts including other voice talents to voice the Legends who've passed away. The biggest difference between Universe and MyCareer is that MyCareer doesn't have to use everybody for the story in terms of voicing especially in Cutscenes like in the SmackDown vs. Raw Games' Season Mode.
