I'm wondering why this song didn't get more attention and play. It's one of my favourites and fits very nicely in the Smooth Jazz genre. Definitely on my playlist.

@@ciannjohnson4248 I heard it all the time on the smooth jazz station I listened to back then. It was a respectable time for both Celine and Kenny G, a time before their music became mainstream and annoying.
It received incredible air play on 94.7 KTWV (The Wave), the premier smooth jazz station in Los Angeles. That was where I first discovered her.
They use to play this song on the smooth jazz station in Philadelphia,pa. Always loved this song so soothing and smooth.

My absolute favorite Celine Dion song. I used to listen to this on the back of the ship after The Gulf War back in 1991. So serene and beautiful.
KOST 103.5 used to play this jam especially at night. I first fell in love with this song after I also came back from the Gulf War serving as medical support for the Marines in Saudi Arabia. Back then EL Toro Marine Corps Air Station and Tustin MCAS was still open and I was stationed there. Met an amazing lady and we danced to this song. Kenny G is playing the powerful sax that makes it so beautiful.

It was! It was played from the Pacific Coast all the way to at least Dallas, that I know of. I am pretty sure it got air time all the way to the East Coast as well. Every single state that I travelled across the west, "Halfway to Heaven" was played over the airways. This was from 1992 through the middle of 1994.
