“Although frequently overshadowed by its larger counterpart-“ (pans camera to reveal an acclimator hidden behind a venator)
That was a very, very nice detail with your camerawork. Nice job!
Love this content, would happily binge longer videos like documentaries. I watch shit tons of ship breakdowns and whatnot, so I recognize quality whenever I see it, so great work so far!
Was thinking the same thing, this is great content
The Acclamator is first generation of the Star Destroyer linage.
Acclamator: LONG tail, fat bulbous protruding bridge module, Huge engine cluster exposed
Venator: Tail shortens, Bridge increases in Size, engines get Bigger, but are less visible
Imperator: Engines all sunken inside, Bridge grows, Tail is gone.
Such a brilliant design lineage, the tail getting shorter and the engines being sunken deeper into the hull implies so much change in doctrine as well as the requirements set by an ever evolving battlespace. I can imagine the hyperdrive in the tail becomes something of a vulnerability, so ithe first thing the design team of the Venator does is sink it all partially into the hull along with the engines, maybe even giving the section more armour. As the Imperator comes in they realize without need for extensive hangar space they can fit the hyperdrive entirely into the hull, negating the need for a tail to begin with. Simoultaneously the bridge, seen as a weakpoint gets massively bulked up, one could also imagine evolving sensor tech, and the space necessary for it's implementation requires the bridge to be much larger. This is of course all conjecture on my part, but simple changes like this can imply any amount of changes to requirements, doctrine, and just ship design in general, which shows us how space warfare is constantly evolving, at least doctrinally, despite SW tech seemingly being somewhat stagnant.
Nice to see you making use of the Incredible Cross Sections as I suggested. Theres a few shots that kinda break my immersion but thats more the quality of the mod, that one shot of the ICS where it shows the main hanger appearing for only a second could have spent more time on screen to convey the interior of the vessel. But otherwise decent.
Yhaa I like this type, I'm actually excited to see this channel grow
Love the short but detailed content! Keep it up!
Very good work, underrated channel.
That is one cool ship. I remember when it was first introduced. Hey i bet you could make Dreadnaught heavy cruiser look amazing.
You write em, I’ll watch em - doesn’t matter how long or short. If I hadn’t already sub’ed, I’d sub again!
Excellent video 📹 👏
Good video. But your voice is overshadow by the music a bit
Have subscribed... keep the content growing forward. Thanks.
750th Sub. Keep it up 👍
Fantastic video! I just subscribed!
good👍
What is the game, and what mod?
The scenes are recorded from Empire at War with the Remake mod. Usually the remake mod only contains ships from the Empire era, but there's a submod called Clone Wars Holdout Factions which adds The Republic and Separatist forces! Can be found on Steam workshop or any mod website
aI script.
Well, it's certainly not entirely false! Though the journey from idea to a final video is much more complex and the script is written by me, it's true that it can be beneficial to use ai to enhance certain parts or the choice of words. I'm just being honest, it can enhance the quality massively and since I strive to give the best quality possible I also use such possibilities.
Believe me, there's a ton of work behind each video and I work hard on them. And I certainly hope it's okay to support this work with a little bit of ai for the choice of words.
@@VanillaAmbience who cares, ai is just a tool to speed up your workflow, it doesn't take anything away from the quality of your videos. Great work, love your channel bro! You definetly got a new sub💪
