I remember the Vicki Fowler kidnap story. Susan Tully delivered an amazing performance as traumatised Michelle. Also the Walford residents showed a close and caring community in searching for her.
Weeks? You mean, years, with every single member of the cast being accused of kidnapping her before eventually the most obvious suspect is confirmed as the abductor, and then after about a week of recriminations it's never mentioned agian
Yorklands is a random name for a building society. Very true to life, harrowing to watch some parts. Sterling work from Sue, we were all rooting for Vicki to be found safe and well.
Uplifting convo in the vic. Got to be a nonce job 😮 But yea they do need hanging. Eastenders was so much more real and gritty then and the word bastard was slung around before 9pm.
I like how that copper basically calls the lad guilty, to his face, with little ground to, but when he has highly reasonable suspicion to go and question the old woman he backs off way too far and gets all sensitive about hurting her feelings.
Do you have any more episodes with Jack Woodman in them and if so, could you please post them?. He was in Eastenders from November 1992 until April 1993.

If this was eastenders now this story would've dragged on for weeks

It's uncanny that this storyline was screened around the same time of James Bulger's murder
