Prison Fight Scene | The Raid 2 (2014) | Now Action
This scene explained why Rama became a better fighter in the sequel..In Raid 1 , you can see his moves were sloppy , reckless , and distracted..he also struggled with the goons too..
In this scene and the prison riot , we can see Rama was using his instinct to strike more precisely and quickly ..the part where he punched the wall was to strengthen his knuckles to inflict heavy damage.. he was actually training himself while in prison to be a better fighter
I'm not sure I would call Rama's moves "sloppy, reckless and distracted" in Raid 1. We see he has quite the experience in Silat, and you can attribute the struggle to an unfamiliar and vastly unprepared situation (it was supposed to be an in-n-out ops, turned into a bloodbath)
I think the reason he became a better fighter in R2 is because of the hallway scene where he got cornered by the four thugs with machetes. It was fight or die. He adapted to that situation and learned from it, which he now uses said experience for his advantage.
@@konradfoyle also we have to add that in R1 Rama I wearing armor, even if it's a light armor it's still have weight in them, meanwhile in the sequel he isn't wearing any protective gear which makes him faster

@@dbound_ that was cool, but I appreciate his readiness for the impossible. The claustrophobic environment and remaining cool and separating the horde to pick some off one by one. A masterful display in my eyes 🤝🏾

@@hinoramei7733 no lol, Uco tried to test Rama so he sent his men to jump on Rama, UCO's men probably told uco that Rama was a great fighter. Uco asks Rama to join his side because he said he could use a fighter like Rama. (Sorry if I used Rama too many times, I'm not a grammar guy)
