Hi po. I want to know more about the Partnership visa. My bf is from Wellington but we are planning to marry here in Pinas this year. Here's a couple of questions I am curious about. - How hard is the process? We plan to apply for a visitor visa then after the wedding sasama na ako sa knya so we can live together legally then we just apply for the resident visa while I am there after few months, is this possible po ba? - Is it easier to process my documents over there or dito sa pinas? - open na po ba ang NZ consulate here in PH para mag process ng Partnership visa? - my fiancé is visiting me this June, hindi na po ba nya need mag quarantine pagbalik? - possible po bang no need na mag hire ng Immigration lawyer at mag DIY nlang po kame?
Hi Lexie! NZ citizen ba si BF? You can check the requirements on the INZ website for a partnership-based visa (either visitor or work) and see which one applies to your situation. Read up on the requirements and assess kung kaya niyo bang i-DIY or you will need help from an immigration adviser/lawyer. If you have solid evidence naman and you fulfill the requirements, kaya namang i-DIY. It's really up to you. All the best!
