Life isn’t a race. The pace of life is fast or slow only if there are comparisons to faster or slower lifestyles. This channel is your space, do with it what you desire to support yourself. Sending good vibes from one lost 20 year old to another
My goodness girl. Your thoughts are so deep. I'm 68 years old and believe me when I say that you have the rest of your life to become. And every day, you are in the process of coming into your own. Think about it. It might seem like a small thing, but planning your own menus, figuring out how much you can purchase on the amount of funds that you have available. Making those groceries last until you can afford more. In this day and age, those are major accomplishments. Be proud of yourself. Love yourself and accept the pace your growing at. Pacing yourself and your growth will bring you peace. And there are no gifts worth more than peace, love, and joy. Take care. People care about you.
I love your channel and your convo at the end was so real and inspiring thank you. Keep doing what you’re doing but take as much time as you need to do it!! 💗🦆
IT TURNED OUT SOO PRETTY!! i really admire ur cretivity and determination to get it finished. also the energy in this video is immaculate, i love that u feel comfortable to talk about these things. once again, keep doing what u do
I love this sweater so much🥹the color scheme and design is so beautiful!! I would die for a knit version 😍&what you did with the sleeves and making your own yarn was so genius :o also the graphgan info was so useful !!
I just discovered your channel. I love your calm, thoughtful personality. I am over 50 and have made it my goal to have a slow-paced lifestyle with as little stress as possible. Luckily my husband (and now my son) are the same and agree that we all like it that way. At times I too felt like maybe I was missing out as I watched all these other people racing around doing stuff every night of the week, but I am confident in my choice that it is what I want. Do not worry, you will figure it all out. I didn’t until I was 30. ❤🥰👍🇨🇦
so sweet of you to share your experiences-it definitely makes me feel less left behind & sure that doing things slowly is ok as long as I’m happy where I am c:
yay so glad to be the first one here. going to watch this while crocheting my own products for a market. You are so so talented and very cute. I love watching your videos
I love this sweater. You are right where you need to be in life, you just can't see it from your own prospective. Life is happening for you, not to you. Be patient and you will see all things happen for a reason. Great things are in your future.
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and feelings. I've been feeling behind on life too but your words reminded me to take things at my own pace ❤
Wow! You made your own yarn to finish it! That's impressive and it looks just fine too! I'm probably your mom age but I love your videos❤I get depressed too. Make sure you get your vitamin daily from actual sunshine every day😊
ah I intended to only make a tutorial for how to make a graphghan itself! the rest of it is a mini crochet with me c: I’m actually writing the pattern for this sweater design & it’ll probs release sometime mid-fall (I’m more of a pattern-writer than a tutorial-maker so that’s why XD) also tysm 💖 happy you think the design is pretty c:
i used a total of 8 skeins (each one being 100g)! but I definitely needed more since the outcome wasn't as oversized as i wanted + I ran out of yarn (I think 1kg would be best!)
I recently bought your pattern. I love it. I've finished the back panel and started measuring for the front. I'm so afraid I'll mess up, as I've never done any graphics before. It's daunting to me as I am older and have problems comprehending directions. My back panel is 64 stitches at the bottom, 42 stitches at the top. My length is 38 rows. I've determined that my graphic would be an Xtra small( I was hoping for a small), but the small calls for 44 stitches. I can't seem to comprehend where I should start the graph. Should I try to add 2 more stitches to the top back to get the width for a small, or should I just use the extra small, and could you please help me with figuring out the graph. By the way, my back panel, before reducing was 64 stitches. Thank you, in advance for your response. This has got me frazzled. I am currently watching this video, hoping that it will click in this old girls brain.
You’re all good!! Thank you for reaching out c: based on your stitches and rows, I recommend using the xs chart! If you have trouble figuring out how to insert the chart into your work (or any trouble with the calculations), please email me at byredbean@gmail.com and I can further assist you with this! I am more than happy to make the calculations for you or answer any other questions 💖
I really enjoy your account and how real you are. Especially when people try to say you need to be successful or doing a lot with your life at a young age. But is that really realistic? We are expected to know what to do at the end of high school. But I think it's okay if you are still figuring out what to do in your life. You saying all the stuff you said in this video I can related to, and I hope this comment helps console you. You are not alone. : )
Love this sweater, but I've never crocheted a graph before. I really want to make this, but have to wait until next month to buy the pattern. I've only been c crocheting for a year, but I've made lots of cardigans, sweaters, purses and amigurami by watching U-tube tutorials. Do you think I would have problems with the graph.
Hello! Thank you-I’m so happy you love the sweater c: I have instructions on how to read the graph so I’m hoping those would answer any questions you have! As for the pattern itself, it may be a bit complicated if you’re not used to taking your measurements and plugging that into the formulas I have, but if that ever confuses you, i can always do the calculations for you (feel free to email me if you need assistance)! Otherwise, I’d like to think it’s a detailed pattern because I have lots of photos and also include a video tutorial on how to make the sleeves 💖
@@byredbean Thank you for your quick response. I am looking forward to purchasing your pattern and making it for my youngest granddaughter. I know she'll love it as much as I do. Best wishes to you.
so beautiful!! you’ve definitely inspired me to get back into crocheting as I was having a bit of art block ❤❤ how much yarn did this take of each colour?
it'll be in my pattern c: (sorry it's behind a paywall haha i need money to pay for school ;w;) i do try to make some free patterns/tutorials every now and then to
I had 8 total but I definitely needed more (maybe 10 cakes totaling 1kg). I’m pretty sure for all her yarns, each cake is 100g but ofc I would double check just in case in the product description c:
More of an intermediate project since you should know basic crochet stitches and techniques before trying to make this c: (eg, If you know how to make a double crochet, slip stitches, some seaming, inc/dec, color changing, it’d say this would be easy for you to make. If you don’t know anything about crochet, this wouldn’t be an easy project.) I do show you step-by-step photos and teach you how to read a graphghan, etc, but having prior knowledge/basic crochet skills will help!

the sweater came out amazing!
its gorgeous! may i wonder where did u get the pattern of the skirt in the minute 3:06, really like the combination of colors in two!
it's from ig iam.lanka's calla dress! i modified it into a skirt by only following the skirt instructions.
wonderful sweater and the talking section really aligned to how i feel as well :)
Ok, I know this was a tutorial in it's own way, but I need an in depth one 😭😢. It's so pretty

i'm literally so obsessed with the outcome !!! The yarn is so darling, how many skeins did you use from pokkomi ?
