Just watched this and compared it with an onboard from Kansas last week, its not even close, it's so visceral and you can tell the car is on the edge. Bring back the high horsepower and rpms!
To ad to the conversation you guys were having about which drivers have onboard cameras available to see, it depends at least somewhat on the sponsors. When you watch the races on TV there are about 8 or 9 cars with cameras. You'll notice about every angle has a sponsor decal in view.
I don't know if the sponsors bid every week for these or what the selection process is, but the bottom line is if they don't decide to install cameras in your favorite driver's car, you won't see an onboard view with him/her on TV, the internet or anywhere.
Yeah, I know about racebuddy, but the problem is that they show a random assortment of drivers each and every week. I want to be able to watch one or two specific drivers each and every week. Unfortunately I have not been able to find something that will allow me to do that. Thanks for the help though.
I would like to find a place that shows this live as well. The only thing that I know is the racebuddy thing on nascar.com. They have different cameras positioned on the track and on different cars. The thing is that you cannot watch your favorite driver every week using that service as they rotate the cameras to different drivers every week or something. I have been trying to find a site on the internet that allows you to choose what driver you want. If you find something like that, let me know
