When you said you wanted to "remake" the conveyor I thought you were hallucinating, and you were going to produce some ludicrous crate. Let's just say I'm WAY beyond impressed. The new equipment is definitely helping, and the results are (to a non-machinist) astounding. NICE, amazingly efficient work!!!
Excellent job Greg Like anyone else that’s self employed, you get to work half days, pick any 12 hours out of the day and there you go Thanks again for sharing and Merry Christmas to you, your family and work crew
Elevator bolts! That's one of the things I really like about RUclips and awesome creators like Greg! I learn so many new things. I am a retired fleet maintenance manager, having seen a few of those around and thinking they were some sort of one-off part, I was never curious enough to research them. After 40+ years in the business, now I know! Thanks!
Highly impressed with how you tackled bending the 9 foot sheet in your 8 foot brake employing the fillet weld. If you keep doing outstanding fabrications / repairs like this, I can see a bigger press brake being added to your wish list :)
Always great videos, neat to see additions in shop making your skills more productive. Thanks for bringing us along!!! Merry Christmas, Happy New year!!
Thanks a lot, you got me hooked on Anchor Lube and I found out the hard way that it's Tit's on a bull useless when it's the negative 0 F temps. Back to Tap Magic for the winter.🍻
I’m glad to see you. Got some new tools. Forklift press brake Plasma cutter. RUclips must be good to you and also the quality of work that you’re doing
Very satisfying to watch the "re-fabrication" of a complex unit like that. Wishing you a Merry Christmas from central Germany; Bruce, Karin, Halgrim and Bella (our wonderful GSDs).
Great build my man. Having bought a few of those conveyors I hope you charged appropriately as they are not cheap. Your customers are lucky to have your abilities at their disposal. Happy Holidays
Great video it's nice to see 👀 a shop start to finish on a project 👍 using the new stop equipment 4 new peace nice . Have a great Holliday 👍 to you and your family 👪 and Jacob and his family 👪
Great work and you’ve definitely built a business with amazing capabilities! Congratulations on your success and, with the hours you appear to be putting in, you definitely deserve it. Merry Christmas to you and yours.
I used to work for a major UHMW maker installing slide and wear surfaces in power plants mining operations and industrial applications excavation operations bottling companies good stuff that was a nice upgrade for that machine build back better Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Everyone!.
on that brake press, you "can" bend longer material, its goofy as S but... you sorta bite what you can, bend about 1/2 way, then the other side, back and forth till you get your correct angle, works dandy... if it doesn't look at all like its going to work, keep going...
Ya know, what I like best about your company, is that you put your money back in to the business to help improve your business and make your life better.
Amazing how many of your clients trash their expensive equipment and expect you to fix it as good as new, which you invariably do. It does make for interesting videos though. Top marks. Respect from France
@@OFW Well, most things that are fun are also messy. - I wish you'd use that press and all the other machines one of these days to make something crazy, like an utterly bonkers Mad-Max post-apocalyptic offroad vehicle. Something way too nuts for Colin Furze where you just think "Hm, somebody hold my beer while I go drunk-program the CNC press." Hey, a man can dream!
I'm curious. Do you think after a few uses, you'll be able to save the corrections for a few different steel thicknesses/ guages and have a cheat sheet made?
Hey O Gregory, Good to see ya in good health`~~E!!!! That sledge will make an old man out of Ya in a hurry..... LOL Are Ya sure it is worth a "rebuild"???? We know Ya can make it.. Considering your skill level, Ya can probably add a "shop built addition to the brake"!!! NICE SAW!!! Equally nice forklift, but 8' forks, get real????
Wrong sheen on finish, LOL, it's a piece of industrial equipment! Did you clear coal over the primer only area? I understand primers alone do not protect very well against rust, etc.
Great minds think alike. As soon as I saw the conveyor. I thought, no he's not going patch that. He's going to remake it, better stronger faster, we have the technology.lol
It's just a shame that engineers Don't follow the motto. Anything worth doing is worth over doing But then again that's job security for you right? I want you to buy a replacement part for $40,000.
Very impressive work, sir. You’ll embarrass the OEM. I really enjoy your videos and admire your work, so thank you for taking the time and trouble.

Beautiful work. You guys tackle some extremely difficult tasks with relentless effort, most people have no idea how difficult it is.
I appreciate seeing the end, to understand where it goes and what it does. Fantastic job you did there, wow.

They're called elevator bolts because they are what is used to fasten cups to a belt in a grain elevator.
@@jbfabrocks Ah, ha! That kind of elevator. Grew up on the farm, raised soy beans and rice. Never heard them called elevator bolts.
Your cut and brake then fillet weld worked out fantastic…bravo….love your Hydmech…I used one back in 2007…it was very productive and accurate….

Incredible job as usual. I just spent a lot of money for my boring machine, but now I need that break. Wife is going to kill me. LOL!

Happy holidays! Thank you for taking us along; I appreciate good craftsmanship.

What a beautiful dog... Please, please make sure they are safe around the equipment and don’t let him/her watch you weld. ❤

Great video, thank you.
Hey, I'm watching this Christmas Eve, so Mary Christmas.
Nice welds, and I like how you essentially made a new one. How did you figure out the layout to cut a new one?
Just got to imagine everything being flat and calculate how the bends will affect it. Measuring 3 times cut once.
Nice job Brother! Enjoy your holidays and please be safe! Thomas, Mississippi!!

This is my favorite kind of fabricating!
You guys are nothing but money Merry Christmas to all you're hard working crew.
man, you reverse engineered that and manufactured another one, sweet score on the saw
Andrew Camarata got a press brake and it aint like yours
Best Xmas ever, Merry Christmas!

Bon boulot 👍👏👋🇨🇵🇨🇵🇨🇵
Merry Christmas!
Nice tools are nice!
When that thing gets to the customer it’s going to stick out like a sucked thumb on a dirty baby. Very nice work and thank you Sir.
Thank you!
You have some great equipment there. Makes you work go easy and quick. Good choice on making a new unit.
Incredible work! Stay safe.
High school has changed. The equipment we got was left over from world war 2. 😂
Merry Christmas to all !!!! Enjoy the channel.
Great job
Shit, anything YOU build could survive a Howitzer! 🤣
I enjoyed that one - but i have to say it is bleak miserable looking weather you are having there!
This damn guy is good
Elevator bolts good for trailer roll up doors.
Coffee on! Here we go! ;-)!! Cheers!
now that's a sledge hammer

Yes. Definitely
52 👍's up on fire welding thank you for sharing 🤗
Press brake over 8' gets real expensive. Especially if you need decent capacity.
So you know cutting wide an thick plate set a 1 inch tube or square under it or you can kill the blades

Dont get me wrong, thats a nice forklift but its no 1970s international yard crane.😅
Amazing
What did you call that material for the conveyor to slide on?
Most likely UHMW (delrin)
UHMW
Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene
👏👏👏👏👏
