I have done this. But we did not have proper salvage bags. We used dunnage bags inside old fertilizer bags. The boat was a bit smaller, only 10 tonnes. It is a great feeling when she lifts off the bottom. I was hoping to see how you attached the bags. To get ideas how to do a better job next time.
Title should have the word refloat removed "sailboat underwater marine salvage diving team Pinguim sub" this is a more accurate description because nothing was refloated in the video.
Verdade que qpexé. o merg fez o filme em continuo e para quem gosta está aqui algo . Mas não é pra todos. Vamos inserir uma compilação de imagens de coisas feitas. Abraço
This happened in Algarve Olhão. The boat was recovered and repaired back to its glory. it was an accident inside the navigation channel. An idiot of a sea gypsy instead of passing by the stern, passes in the bow. In an attempt to avoid the crash, it crashed into the channel's buoyage, making a huge hole and poured water into it. The pirate who ignored the good rules of navigation, simply continued no one realized what happened except who was aboard. Sorry for not giving a quick reply to your question.

I've been fascinated with all things nautical since watching 'The undersea world of Jaques Cousteau as a wee boy in the 60's !

Salvage is a quite awesome area.
I sympathize with those who find this boring. Voice commentary explaining what is being done would help.
unless you are really in to diving, maybe it is boring, but I enjoyed this short video and wished I could have helped out :o)
George THANK YOU. You are most welcome. We are posting a compilation of pictures with salvage situations we have done. Wish you all the best
Fico feliz que você fosse capaz de desencalhar-lo.
10 min and I've had to go piss three times.
Damned water noise.
Great video, intresting !
For the exciting part of this video skip to 17:26
To paraphrase Jurassic Park:
"You do plan on raising a ship on this, uh, ship raising video don't you?"
so what happened to the "Refloat sailboat" bit,.. is that part 2?
There was supposed to be a boat that got floated in here somewhere right! NOT! Just skip to the end to see the boat under water still. :O(
Some commentary would of been nice
I watched it to the end but nothing happened ... is there a part 2 when the boat comes to the surface ?
needs more cowbell
What was the boat name - she comes from cornwall uk - only 5 miles from me - would be good to know what happened to her after - thanks for sharing
They actually take the boat out. I don't remember the time they took, but it was toed to a shipyard.
It is sailing again
Yes is does. Boat´s name is HEPTARCHY. Very nice boat. It is back to it´s glory. It was recovered with GREAT CARE
I don't often comment, but this was a waste of time for me!!!!
Ha ha , no results .... shit happens !

Foi pena a filmagem não ter uma ordem cronológica, desde o 1º mergulho até ao estaleiro.

Try to comment what you are doing and how. This is boring.
waisted 17 minutes and a bit of my life watching this, hoping to see the boat being floated, and towed away.... well none of that!!...
WTF
Question how the fuck do you sink a sail boat
Easy, they have huge ballast weights in the keel!
You sail it downward.
