My favourite part about watching the videos from the old Monster Hunter games is simply watching the day to day lives of the people in this universe. How they use their resources from the natural world and monster materials to make their armor, weapons, tools, homes, etc. It's just so cool to watch and I would watch an entire documentary about a village just living their day to day lives and tackling the challenges they face every day.
Ah i remember these humble days of MH2/MHFU...look how far its come in its 15+ years of enjoyment, and now its popular world wide! Heres to you wonderful hunters out there and i hope to see all of you for many years to come! 👍

note on the 21:57 that sword has an history, if you played the freedom 1 on PSP and complete the game, then transfer what you had save to freedom 2 on PSP it will give you a ticket. That ticket then will unlock that sword (21:57) it say that it was the sword of the first chief of the village :)
Outside MH Frontier, Online and some Spinoff games, MH2 Is probably the most forgotten MH of the Entire Franchise, considering how this never had a proper localization outside Japan Is kinda sad actually, Jumbo was beautiful in a similar way as Kokoto, i really want to see This Village coming back to life in the future
Seems like the story is just be the best hunter you can be and expand the village, similar to the first game. I think Tri/3 Ultimate starts adding more of a structured story with earthquake attacks.

I'm pretty new to the monster hunter series, I'm stuck in the lvl 4 quest "the lone black Garuga " I've got a full hermitaur and a full khezu armor btw. Also my fav weapon is the devil slicer, it's sooo good. Working my way to the true devil slicer.....
chafiko maleko I'm about where you are but I also have the naruga armor and dual blades, my brother and cousin, we play together but we barely do village quest .as for the loneliness without them we play monster hunter at the same time just not the quests together so they're still there to tell me what to do

To be fair, Kushala is the first "Regular." Elder Dragon In MH1, the only Elder Dragons was Lao-Shan Lung, Kirin and Fatalis For MH They Added Kushala as a Flagship, Lunastra as The final Village monster, Teostra, Chameleos and Yama Tsukami

On 4 shared, make an account find a File of Monster Hunter game as a file disk, then pick either a "MHFU(EU mode) or MHPortable 3rd in HD". Always double check if the game has 900+ MB or 1G file size then analyze if it's authentic. Then download it. 3. After u downloaded it, run the file by looking for the game's state on the PPSSPP app then look for the file, then boom edit how u want your game to be good, then Welcome Memory boy.

That would be a stressful mechanic if you could lose your weapon in a hunt and you had to retrieve it as the monster was pursuing you.
The hammer blow in the opening was one of the scenes that made me fall in love with monster hunter

but its not a sword and shield...its a dual sword. MHF2 was the first MH to introduce dual sword on PS platform
