Hey Adam if you have the time to reply to this comment I would appreciate it a lot! So I am on the griffon spit tree and I'm struggling a lot with learning the advantages these spitties have over the German and Italian planes at this br. Do you have any advice on how to better fly these planes. I'm specifically talking about the first and second spitfires in the griffon line.
They climb well and they have good turn and high altitude performance. You can turn with Germans but you need to run from the Re2005. I have a video of the first Griffon (Mk XIV), ignore the 2nd one: ruclips.net/video/D_ni6zymbKY/видео.html
After all this time I follow you I'm still asking myself if that little window that show you thrust and other specs is a mod or something you can activate. How can I have that too?

Depends on the altitude. TAS = IAS at sea level. IAS gives the same dynamic pressure regardless of the altitude, and that's what matters to pilots since the plane will handle the same at the same IAS even if you change altitude. TAS is higher than IAS as you climb since air density reduces, so you need to go faster to "hit" the same amount of air molecules.
Still think you should get onto tanks Adam your tank reviews would be full of information like your aircraft fly outs, have you e we considered fail compilations?

Adam514 ok thanks! Also do you know how I should climb with the ta c-3?
It would've been better if you inserted Blue Danube dance or anything classical.
That's music?
@@AdamTheEnginerd Yeah,classical music
Sorry I’m late! Chem exam that I probably failed... great vid as always!
Were chemtrails on the exam?
Thanks!
Adam514 more like organic compounds
@@doch.8039 That's fun too.
tho one thing i noticed lately is that ppl are trying to turn fight the mk xiv, and yes i know its less maneuverable than mk ix, but its still a sptifire :D
I wish to see you playing sim battles!! i'm curious how the physics affect the gameplay.
One day.
then I would actually prefer IL 2 - that's an actual simulator
Everything is a simulator. We're living in a simulation.
Yeah but the simulations running into another simulation may suffer worst physics precision calculations... bad for us "virtual combat pilots" jajaja
is there chance we gettin your sticker and 3% discount on WT shop?
Uhm not familiar with what that is exactly.
Adam514 collab with gaijin to have discount from your YT channel in WT shop. also it enables to put your decal in game. smth like that. sorry for my english
Maybe one day!
Which proggram u are using for making edits
lov u btw :3
Vegas Pro 15.
Hey, how do you get the extra info on your screen? Like RPM, Thrust and stuff like that?
It's called the "local host".
How to access the "local host":
You need to be running War Thunder or it won't work!
Option 1: on the same computer that is running WT:
-Type localhost:8111/ in the address bar and press enter and voila.
Option 2 (which also works on the computer that runs WT):
-Type Your_IP_Address:8111/ where you replace "Your_IP_Address" by your IP Address (192.168.X.XXX) in the address bar and press enter and voila, you can look at the characteristics on another device while flying.
@@AdamTheEnginerd Thansk m8, very helpful! Godspeed!
@@justcallmesteve9123 My pleasure!
@@AdamTheEnginerd thanks Adam! I'll definitely watch that when I can.
My pleasure!
After all this time I follow you I'm still asking myself if that little window that show you thrust and other specs is a mod or something you can activate.
How can I have that too?

Can you do the other way around or maybe just say what he needed to do?
Maybe one day.
So with the current state if allies what do you thinks better this or the LF MK 9

Close to the same speed below 9km.

Why do I learn more about aircraft in these videos than my Aero Engineering classes lmao
Because I give better AE classes ;).
Adam514 Come be an Aero professor at my college & i’ll take your classes😂
RUclips isn't enough?
I pretty much share the interesting things I've learned in AE lol.
Adam514 Well I’m currently failing Engineering Mech I/Statics I whatever your school calls it so come help a brotha out😂
I wish u played the zero more often or ki80 something
Ki84? I have a decent amount of Japanese videos though.
I’ve been gone for a while, what did you do with adam514
Cannibalized.
So, why is the tas 100 km/h higher than the ias?
Depends on the altitude. TAS = IAS at sea level. IAS gives the same dynamic pressure regardless of the altitude, and that's what matters to pilots since the plane will handle the same at the same IAS even if you change altitude. TAS is higher than IAS as you climb since air density reduces, so you need to go faster to "hit" the same amount of air molecules.
You tease ! you.
I tease?
Spitfire mk XIV c can fight ta too?
Yup.
Still think you should get onto tanks Adam your tank reviews would be full of information like your aircraft fly outs, have you e we considered fail compilations?
I have no knowledge of tanks ;). I have 2 tank videos though.
I'd have to fail to make a fail compilation though ;).
Adam514 ahhh yes the T34 and KV-1 videos I need to watch that KV-1 one
Hahahahaha that is very true, I probably do enough failing for the both of us 😂😂 I'm definitely a better pilot than I was when I started air rb as my go to game mode for aircraft I used to be an arcade noob but from practice and watching the likes of yours and jengars videos I'm now what I would consider a decent war thunder pilot but still got a room for improvement for sure
Everyone can still improve!
Hey Adam if you have any compilation or if you can make one showing you killing re2005 it would be great... I feel like the community are kind of over exaggerating with its performance personally I'm able to kill it. I know weaknesses cause I flew it. But I feel people would a video like that. Battles that happen during matches. And maybe a new lengthy k4 video? Cause I really want to know how the hell can I beat allies 5.7 and above in that thing. Sorry for the story but I had a lot to say.
They are a challenging enemy, not many Allied planes can dogfight it.
K4 is on my list!
the difference one plane cost 35'000 to repair

Both are on my list!
@@AdamTheEnginerd Nice. When I look at the X-ray of the La-200, it puzzles me how air gets to the rear engine. Hmmm... The power of Stalin I guess ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@vicsaucey I think there's a separate intake for it (I haven't looked at it in a while), but at worst both engines get the air from the same intake.
@@AdamTheEnginerd I looked for a separate intake but couldn't find it. Also, there's fuel tanks, guns, and the pilots in between the first and second engine, so it makes it look like that air from the intake in the front wouldn't be able to reach the rear engine. Probably some Soviet secret haha.
@@vicsaucey The air goes around the items in the fuselage, there's room.
What does MER mean?
Maneuvering Energy Retention. Essentially it's a measure of how much energy (speed) an aircraft loses when maneuvering. Different aircraft will lose speed at different rates depending on their power, weight, wing, geometry, etc. I did some tests and made a video explaining it if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/wLA8cspXbbE/видео.html
