Lol the yz450 handles just as fine! You guys and these shroud complaints is ridiculous.. I hop off the Yamaha on to a Kawasaki or Honda and really isn’t a huge difference! Matter of fact try measuring across from radiator to radiator there isn’t a huge difference at all. And the app is better than any other bike period! Plus the fact you really don’t need aftermarket parts to make the bike go faster where is the app helps that out a lot and saves you money. You sound like a hater compared to other testers.lol
The manufacturers intentionally put the better accessories and parts on the four strokes instead of their two-stroke if they do the same to the two-stroke including that better frame that the four-stroke has nobody would buy the four-stroke.
Dude quit acting like the Yamaha is soooo much wider than the Honda! It’s not even a 1/4 inch.. if you think you feel 1/8 to 3/16 with you knees you are crazy. Like they say the mind can play tricks on you. You look at an air box without a gas cap can mess with your mind. Place a cap there once. My friends and have switched bikes and can’t tell a difference..
They deleted the holes from 2021 in the air box lid ! Which is a backwards step . Yamaha’s outlast all the others mechanically, KTM, Husq , Gas gas , all clones with questionable engine life !
Ktm better and always will be the motor is so strong yea ktm cost a bit more than other brands but it's a reason because every thing they do isn't cheap
Statistically speaking Yamahas are more reliable than any other brand. Honda second. Suzuki and Kawasaki are tied for third. Cost less to own and maintain also. With that said, those four, KTM, husqvarna are all quality machines.
It’s honestly not, you probably can’t tell from my picture but I have a 2021 yz 250f and it’s the easiest motor to work on, just from the bolts and nuts being in easy to reach spot but also not being a ridiculous pattern like torx, we pulled the engine for full rebuild and had the bike running again in 3 hours for a race the next day
I have a 21’ yz250f and a ‘22 crf250r, I ride the Honda my son rides the Yz. We’re both faster on the Yamaha, better bottom hit and handling is more stable and the suspension is a lot smoother on a rough track, so you can push it more, especially running fast up chopped up jumps with acceleration bumps. Yamaha just smooths out the track.
Let's hurry up and see the new yz125

Put a 22 YZ250 2-stroke motor in that chassis and then you'll have the perfect bike.
