As the things are looking in Kursk I don't think the russians prepare a counter-strike. At least not a frontal one. I think they want to attack the flanks and close the gate for the AFU troops so they can't return to Ukraine. Then, the aviation will do the rest. I don't think the russian tactic there is to push back the Ukrainians, I think their tactic is to make sure that no AFU soldier will manage to turn back on his feet.

Ukraine takes control of farmland and 23 tractors while only losing hundreds of troops and military vehicles.
So far the Ukrainians have incurred few losses in Kursk. Hundreds of russians have surrendered.
As the things are looking in Kursk I don't think the russians prepare a counter-strike. At least not a frontal one. I think they want to attack the flanks and close the gate for the AFU troops so they can't return to Ukraine. Then, the aviation will do the rest. I don't think the russian tactic there is to push back the Ukrainians, I think their tactic is to make sure that no AFU soldier will manage to turn back on his feet.

Maybe 🤔 it has a little something to do with the UN Charter and article 51.
It’s seems people don’t realize that previously Ukraine was only fighting for its own land and staying within its borders fighting Russia. Then American said the Ukraine could bomb RUSSIA over the border when faced with an “incursion”.
You see America was trying its best to NOT VIOLATE the UN charter, article 51. Because for 3 years Ukraine has been able to claim it was never the aggressor because it had never stepped foot on Russian soil.
Amazing how EVERY SINGLE Country has failed to recognize that with Ukraine going into Russia and occupying it’s territory, killing civilians, has violated the UN Charter and under article 51 Russia now has equal rights to defend itself against the aggressions of Ukraine.
All countries supporting this crap show of a war, (whereas is left alone Ukraine would have been over taken/overthrown in a few weeks) for 3 years have been holding the UN charter article 51 over Russias head as being the aggressors and presenting NATO country support for Ukraine based on this. As a matter of fact Zelensky and his top cabinet members can now be charged by the ICC with war crimes and warrants put out for Zelensky’s arrest as was done to Putin!
America was trying to bring Russia down without violating the UN charter, article 51. This is why the US wouldn’t allow certain long range weapons to be used. This is why the Ukraine never invaded Russia.
All the people hailing Ukraine taking the war to Russia and to ignorant and unread to understand what just happened. Most people don’t understand international law.
