The fact that some of these kids haven’t ever met each other but we’re still able to come together as a team and win amazes me.

I feel like they should be doing metal bat tourneys at 13 the games would just be more exciting and electric. Great team though, they seem like great coaches and kids.

I used to play baseball with reggie
This was our first tournament together that's why it is no ranking, we didn't play in the summer like most teams but these are most of the top 13u players in the country, mostly PG select fest kids, they're well coached by former MLB players and current scouts

Nonetheless I'm proud of the guys and the chemistry they made being that this was their first tournament together

This was at Boombah complex. The energy there is unmatched! My team I coach is going there Jan 28 2022 and I can’t wait! And FYI any team that is an MLB “Scout” team will usually be made of selectfest kids and or high level players. Padres are good but check out the 16u FTB/Phillies Scout

Sometimes pressuring your kid like that will prevent your kid from having fun. My dad did that all my life. I ended up playing on high level teams like this but I sometimes hated it.

In baseball scout team means that’s the team that’s scouts come watch to play so they can get exposure so they get offers for college or even get drafted out of highschool

Those were joke on account of their experiences. They all knew they were minority, but the scenes you saw were comparisons to lively hood. Trust me, he is friendly and a complete goofball does not met a stranger and a good friend to all he meets.

Today’s 12-14 year old kids are just unreal most of them are throwing like 65-75 MPH pitching UNREAL
In 14u you will see 80-85
the #1 co 2025 pitcher on Perfect Game tops 92
65 mph for 13 years old isn't really that good nowadays. Most kids are throwing 70+
I play on a 12u major team and most of the pitchers we see are 65+. The hardest throwing pitcher we’ve faced this year was sitting 76.

This team isn’t that good, small things like the outfielders backpedaling and the runners not fully running their ground balls out. These small things make the best teams.
I agree, their bats aren’t very hot either. Wood bats or not, the swings aren’t there. The only swing I saw that impressed me was #3.

try playing some California , Arizona, Nevada, Florida teams then talk, it would be 10 run rule against any of the best from any of those states..
They work toghther that they are good they find a way to win because they are good like that
