It’s called MC2SIO, which is basically a little memory card you plug into yr ps2 but I will warn it works only with a certain type of model tho but if you have a ps2 slim then chances are it work no problem. Phat on the other hand are a bit more complex, I haven’t messed around with it since I own a slim. But if you get that along with a microSD chip- slap a bunch of games into it with a sandisk then put it into the MC2SIO. Yr able to play almost every game. There’s videos online as well about it if yr interested. They’ll explain it better than I did.
Several games I had gotten at normal prices have shot up semi recently after the 3ds was discontinued. 3ds "Metal Gear Solid 3: snake eater". DS "Resident Evil: deadly silence". DS "Dementium 2". 3ds "Nano Assault", 3ds "Fantasy Life". Some went up higher than others, but all of these have increased FAR above the original price. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few others I have but that's all I can remember off top of my head. I was most surprised about "Dementium 2", it's one of my ALL time favorite DS games and is a shining example of what is possible to accomplish with the right developer. I wasn't really aware that other ppl had even heard of it and was glad to see it has a cult classic following. It's a competent horror game but it's also nearly the best FPS on DS as well, second only to "Metroid Prime Hunters". So glad I got all of these years ago and held onto them. No way in hell I would buy them now😂

Rule of Rose (along with Haunting Ground which is also super expensive now) pretty much got a ban hammer as soon as they were released so copies are hard to come by. I loved Haunting Ground and regret not stealing it from the friend i borrowed it from.

I do, PCSX2 isn’t worth it and OPL isn’t worth it. So now I have to spend it to play Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4: The room, Rule of Rose, Kuon PS2 and Haunting Ground.

I mean, you could just download PCSX2 Emulator and then find a PS2 Bios File to download, then find a PS2 (Game) ISO File to download and then it's free. However I (do NOT condone) this since that is considered Piracy, I'm just saying, it's possible that you could do it. But I'm sure many already know that and only ever Emulate games in a completely Legal fassion.
bro you need to chill. the cost of those games is for rarity not quality. games have become collector items now. no longer just for gaming. if the prices to own a rare physical copy of a game bothers you so much you can always go digital or get a rom. switch your perspective on how you look at games. they are no longer some childish past time. work went into these games many of these studios no longer exist. they are a relic of a past we will no longer see. owning the physical of any of these games is something to be proud of not ashamed because of its price.
People spend 400 to play through and sell it 400, like using the same quarter over and over at a lemonade stand. It’s just an inflated predatory deposit charge. I’m sure some lucky duck has a PAL system hookup to bypass these issues😂
