My first SLT post was in North Yorkshire along the coast! I'd fully recommend the Yorkshire Dales.. very similar to the Shropshire Hills (in terms of views and feelings) some great little villages and attractions Hawes - brilliant cheese creamery where Wensleydale cheese originated Just outside there is a route that the tour de Yorkshire did with with grande depart a few years ago Ingleton Waterfalls Trail 👣 Ribbleshead viaduct
Thanks for the video. My family and I will be staying at the very hotel you mentioned in Ravenscar next week. I look forward to doing that walk. How long did it take to walk to Robin Hood's bay?
It’s a beautiful walk! The return journey can take about 4 hours or more depending how often you’re stopping. We just did the walk from Ravenscar to Robin Hood’s Bay, it took us about 2-2.5 hours and then we took a taxi back.
