5am wake up is hugely mental, when I watch videos like this people preface it with saying how hard and awful it will be, which sets it up to be. Realistically you are getting the same amount of hours, you are just structuring your day differently to maximise very unproductive dead space hours, like in the evening where people easily spend 5-8hrs on their phone rather than on wellbeing.
I think this waking up 5 am thing depends on the geographical location, season, gender etc. When I am near sea side, I have 0 problem or tiredness and naturally wake up at 5. But I cant imagine doing it in colder climates like where I live now.
Yep ! I no issues when sun rises at 5am but when sun does not rise till later trying force body wake up that it is not natural to do, it causes alot issues .I wake up at 5am and leave at 6.20am for my son to school and me go work but I don’t return for 13 hours later at 9pm /10pm then have get ready again for the next day of work and my son for school and 5am start in the dark in Ireland .more vitamins d and magnesium helps but not the cure !
I became a 5am person after spending my whole life as barely a 9am person. It has changed my life ! I still hit snooze on the weekends if I want to, but those extra long weekend days are the best for getting stuff done
I love how your videos are so realistic Becca. Whatever you do, you make it seem easy and natural which really motivates me to at-least try to give it a shot. ❤❤
That was awesome really!! Starting your day by 5am is always healthy but it needs strong intentions which is the key to all of this. With strong intentions comes self-honesty and you take lots is interests in doing it on daily basis. But most of all, you are so sweet in putting this all together in video. Indicates dexterity, quality, dedication, persistence, honesty, productivity. What else. Guys, please give sincere appreciations to this girl 👏👏.
Thank you for reflecting yourself as you are and showing things as they are, without any exaggeration. It's a very realistic video. I'm in my late 30s, and I have to wake up at 6 during the week for work, which only leaves time to get dressed and take the shuttle to work. It's also very hard to have a unique routine when you have someone in your life. This is the most realistic video I've seen so far in this style. So relatable. Thank you for not making me feel overwhelmed or like I'm not enough. That’s why now I’m a follower 🎉
I get up between 3/4 am everyday for years. I read, meditate, write a journey, exercise (at home). There are very good work out at RUclips. Have a fruit/vegetable juice at 7 am ; get ready for my day and have breakfast around 9 am and start working at 10-5. Go to sleep at 9/10 pm ❤ Love it and I wouldn’t like to do it any different.
I got tired only by watching this video, haha. On a more serious note, your content manages to motivate me to get some sh*t done and be more organized in my everyday life. I really struggle with my sleep pattern (going to bed late, waking up late) and I could never do such a challenge, but I liked the part about leaving your phone away and doing something productive right after waking up instead of aimlessly scrolling on social media.
Dear Becca watching your content is so uplifting because your films and content are so perfect. I lost my job and am depressed for 2 years now and watching someone else’s life being perfect really motivates me to live a better more healthier life. I get really depressed when I look at social media and esp Instagram RUclips so I need to get off because it does significantly impact my mental health by showing a perfect side of life that is just unattainable and not real. Thank you for being real human grounded authentic and vulnerable. It really helps us normal humans who don’t have perfect lives but watch your curated short films wishing everything can be aesthetic and just perfect. You’re truly an artist and watching your videos is real therapy. But sometimes we just have to fal in love with reality as much as we do a creative piece of art.
If i get avout 8 to 7 hrs sleep fiirat getting up early is not so bad. ❤but it depends on the time of the month ladies!❤ we need more sleep during pms/period❤
I have alot of anxiety with driving where I avoided it for years, you actually encouraged me to practice and finally get my final license. I can say I feel more confident now, it's a step forward to driving anxiety free!
OMG that introoooo, whaaaat?! Just keep getting better and better, wow. Some seriously amazing editing and aesthetic. Alsoooo, can we appreciate how beautiful you are? Loving your eyes without false lashes honestly ❤️
The editing at the beginning was so incredible ❤️ I just love everything about your videos. So aesthically pleasing but real at the same time, always cosy and relaxing. Totally motivated by this. Catching up on your vids tonight so I've got another to watch... Yay!! ❤️ Have a wonderful evening beauts and a fantastic start to your week ahead xxxx
I’ve been trying not to have coffee in the morning and I actually feel much better. I think it was really impacting my blood sugar and actually making me feel quite anxious ! I will have to try the AG1 as I do like something to take to the gym with me! Amazing video as always xxx
Thanks for the video. Yes, working out in the morning gives you a burst of energy. That’s my favorite time to work out. And it’s okay and healthy to take a nap midday.
For years I had a job where I had to wake up at 3 or 4 am, daily. Doing that for many years, it really took a toll on my overall health and wellbeing. I swear I never felt truly rested. Even if I got a full nights sleep. Around 2:30p I would be exhausted, trying to stay awake. I had to take a nap if I wanted to go out with friends on my Fridays to enjoy a late night. Working out regularly did help a lot. But, I don't miss it at all lol. When I see these challenges I giggle a little because I would never choose this if I didn't have too. I think I really thrive off a later in the day schedule. Thanks for sharing your experience and being honest about how it worked out for you. Always enjoying your videos. Mochi is so dang cuuteee. Love from SoCal.
Yesss 5am is the secret sauce!!! & the idea of defining the trend for YOU and YOUR life! Everything you are describing totally reminds me of Superhuman meditations that I listen to daily. I'm not sure if you've heard of the app, but it's all about habit stacking everyday activities with visualizing your future. It's been such a game changer for me, so I can't help but share! Cw for your next vid xx
Sooo motivating!! It took me a few weeks to stick to an early morning routine. I used to feel drained and I now naturally sometimes wake up at 5:40-6am.
Loved this video! A realistic version on RUclips is rare! Seeing your struggles however powering through is so inspiring in comparison to other scripted videos that make us all feel like we are worthless for not being productive.
Agh thank you so much. The real truth about 5am morning routines!! There is so much PRESSURE from the internet to do this when actually you end up slugging at 9am and needing a nap because your brain has stopped working. I understand people who have to do this for their own commitments but damn to some of us it ain’t worth it. Relearning that productivity can be found at any time of the day has been tough. Just my opinion.
I agree with this! I think you can be productive whenever! Sometimes with my work schedule I won't work until 4pm. I'm fine waking up at 8am and I'm still extremely productive before work. There would be absolutely no point for me waking up at 5am those days!
Dear Becca , thank you so much for creating these entertaining videos for us, you don't know how much I love watching ur videos and how much of an inspiration you are to
I SWEAR THAT INTRO DRIVED ME CRAZYYYY, IT WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL im sorry i was screaming, you've no idea how much i love that kind of videography, it just drives me crazy i love it and i love everything you do
besides this amazing, high-quality content, and the fact that I fell in love with her, the editing and camera angles were just epic!! It actually looks like a documentary or something. One of the best videos I've watched in a long time. U GO GIRLL
Love this video! My issue with 5am mornings is that I enjoy it as a slow morning and feel like I have many hours to rest before the day starts but the morning usually stretches into late afternoon without me actually being productive.
This is so helpful! I’m not a morning person so I can use all the tips I can get. I’m not sure if someone has left this comment already so apologies if so but with the Lumie light you can use the redder hues at night time to help tell your body it’s time to unwind! The red light mirrors the sunset to helps trigger melatonin production. 😊
I loved this video. And gonna try to be more productive and getting up earlier and get more productive and yeah it’s not for everyone. Routine is routine. You can have any routine for any time period. Some people think they need wake up early when you can wake up at 10 and be productive
I enjoyed this vlog and the honesty of it, like you're not claiming you could do this every day with zero effects on the rest of your life and relationships. New subscriber❤
I have been waking up at 5 am for a few months now, because my husband has to start work at 6 am and wakes up at 5. So I naturally wake up with him or as he is getting ready, but because we sleep early and he HAS to wake up at 5, it has become a routine for us and it feels so normal. Before this, I used to think that people who wake up so early are crazy 😂 (like my brother, he has to wake up at 4😮), but now it is the best thing, we get done with everything super early and while there is still sun, we can go out and do some activities 😊 we live in Germany and in winter it gets dark very early ☺️
I woke up at 6am everyday for a month and that’s when I finally felt like it was normal, your circadian rhythm needs time to get in sync. You’ll get really sleepy before you get the benefits daily :)
I wake up around 5:30-6am, take a shower, get dressed, make breakfast, pack a lunch and am out of the house by 7:15 for my 30m drive to work. There is no napping in the middle of the day. I’ve been doing this for 25 years? There is no time to get a morning workout in aside from a 10-20 yoga session at home. I disc golf after work when I can but that pushes dinner later in the evening and I hate eating later than 6pm. Bedtime is 10:30 at the latest if I don’t fall into a rabbit hole of self help videos! LOL
I get up 4am, workout n get ready for work … lol it’s all about routine ,once you develop a routine it becomes easier . You always get so much done n you can create you time during your early mornings. It takes time but once you are used to it. I wake naturally about 4am even on weekends.. I do sleep in until 6am sometimes! Lol
Loved watching this Becca! I like the idea of not being on your phone for an hour in the morning when you wake up. I know I struggle with this along with a lot of people and I'm definitely going to try this since I'm wanting to create a more mindful routine in the mornings :)
If you do something for long enough your mind and body will adapt. I never thought I would be a morning person. But I have been starting work at 4am now for almost 8 years which means getting up at 3:30 am (work is within walking distance) and also doing vigorous exercise at the gym for 45 minutes after work, usually running or cycling. I used to go to bed at all hours of the morning (which I miss) and get up whenever I felt like it which is not good for your mental health. Trust me, if I can do this anybody can!
I have to agree that getting up early and starting ur day early is really good… I am myself couple times get up at 4:00 am. At the end of the day I felt so much better❤ and I respect those people who gets up early at 4: am
Such a great video! I absolutely LOVE your fur baby- so adorable and cute! What breed is he/she? I have to agree that the early start is definitely more productive if you want to add in extra things along with your other duties but it's just not for me. I am naturally a night hawk but also realized that my brain is most alert during the day between 8am-1pm. I am a student so I try to maximize those hours for study. I also work from 3pm- 1130pm so waking up at 5 or even 6 everyday would not work with my current position.
Hello Becca, I really love your video and I'm very sure that you are a inspiration for us. I want to say that I missed so much your video with "what I eat in a day/week" and maybe this comment can help you to give you a reminder whith those videos. Thank you for everything you do and take care❤️
Loved this! Thanks for keeping it real and sharing your thoughts. I'm trying to get up earlier but the dark and cold make it sooo hard. I just ordered a sunrise alarm clock (darn Amazon lightning sales!) so hopefully that helps.
Great job with completing this 5am challenge Becca 👏 I used to wake up at 04:45 but not anymore...I've been thinking about trying to wake up at 5 for a week too but I'm afraid my body won't be able to handle it 😅
Hey!! Becca you really really made my day with this vlog and I really needed this vlog so so much you are my inspiration and I wish you reach 200K Subscribers very very soon!😭💫💓
I did this for like months, to woke up at 5:00 pm cause i had to prepare to go to work at 6:00 and its so so different routine for me and my body!! It was an experience tho so good job sweetie
Loved the video!! I wonder all the time, some say to wake up early to make the most of the day, but what about the people who stay up later to make the most of the day? I prefer to stay up later and work and then wake up later. But I feel it's the same, just different time blocks. When I used to work at 4 am, I'd be in bed by 6 pm. Lights out by 7pm latest and still woke up feeling horribly tired. I just feel morning is not for all, maybe?
Totally valid to prefer the evenings! For me personally, I've noticed that I feel best when I have some time to myself (like 2h) before heading to uni or work in the mornings. When I have to rush and don't even get a proper breakfast it, I get overwhelmed easily by public transport, bright lights and such. But I also get staying up late and having some me time then. Honestly this 5am thing is a product of capitalism/hustle culture and is supposed to make you feel insuffienct. Everybody is different in their needs and that's great.
@@BeccaWatson I go to bed around 8pm some nights and watch T.V and read kindle, but really must stay off phone in the mornings it wastes so much of my time it’s ridiculous….did start walking in the mornings but there is always a little excuse and that’s not good!
Hey Becca, I’m becoming a big fan of your videos, the beauty, the aesthetics, and the style is just so mesmerizing. And the best part is the tips and the lifestyle improvement content mixed it makes watching the videos feel like it’s a treat but a healthy treat. 🥰. For this video, I liked how you introduced the link, and for the challenge itself. I think what you said in the end really summarized it well. Some people who need to wake up this early like for work or daily commute, it probably bust becomes their requirement and second nature. But for some, maybe they just have different needs and priorities. I liked how you stuck to the 3 habits that you wanted to. However, I feel like something that would have helped is just allowing yourself to drink the coffee and maybe starting with the 2 habits instead of 3 and then gradually adding the 3rd habit on. Perhaps the body would have adjusted better, and maybe this will work better for people trying to get to the 5 am morning routine and stick to it for a longer period of time. I liked how you gave yourself that comfort of naps and really listened to your body and tuned it to what it needed. That is an important skill to learn for all of us too. Awesome video! Please keep on giving us the good stuffs. 😊
Lol GIRL I’m up at 3;45am for prayer and meditation every morning then back in bed at 5am take my teen daughter to school leaving at 6:15 back home at 7am to ACTUALLY start my day with clients at 10 for tutoring then it’s go go go til 7pm😆 some days I’m extremely tired and in bed at 7:30pm I hope everything is still working out for your early start
This is the most honest morning routine video I have ever watched (and I've watched a lot 🤣🤣)...loved it!! Thank you Becca. I hate waking up to an alarm...I naturally wake up around which is good....5am just sounds completely horrible to me though 🤣🤣🤣
Tip for anyone getting up early, get some sun when you first wake up if you can. It could be for only 30 seconds, but it will make a world of difference
people who can do productivity like this are people working flexible jobs like youtube, influencer, people who mainly work from home and can choose what time to start work. As a teacher. this is impossible, gotta be at work at 8am.
Not really, I have to be at work for 8am and I can get up and 5am. I go right to gym. It makes me feel more productive with my day, but oddly enough I feel like I have more energy in the day.
I’m a teacher. I wake up at 5am, exercise and get so much done before leaving home…I even manage to get to school early to make sure I have everything prepared for the day :) My body clock now even wakes up naturally around 5am on weekends and I am so much more productive ❤
Ok but sorry that intro was absolute fire and I cannot deal with how good your videography and editing is! You’re a huge inspiration girly 🥰

I think this waking up 5 am thing depends on the geographical location, season, gender etc. When I am near sea side, I have 0 problem or tiredness and naturally wake up at 5. But I cant imagine doing it in colder climates like where I live now.

It’s the fact that this is like my third time watching this video why is it so good
Do you have a video on your video equipment and set up??? I love all the angles you get!! 😊❤
I literally GASPED at that catch from the fridge, so impressive omg
I have to agree that getting up early and starting ur day early is really good… I am myself couple times get up at 4:00 am. At the end of the day I felt so much better❤ and I respect those people who gets up early at 4: am
loved this!!! the quality is awesome!! the editing is so beautiful ❤️
Becca, your videos are amazing! I watch them each day and they put me in a good mood :). Thank u ! Where are your sweatpants from? 💗
YESSSSS THE QUEEN IS BACK WITH ANOTHER VIDEO ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I love how realistic this is
Such a great video!
Great job with completing this 5am challenge Becca 👏 I used to wake up at 04:45 but not anymore...I've been thinking about trying to wake up at 5 for a week too but I'm afraid my body won't be able to handle it 😅
Omg so early ahhh!! ❤️

I did this for like months, to woke up at 5:00 pm cause i had to prepare to go to work at 6:00 and its so so different routine for me and my body!! It was an experience tho so good job sweetie
LOVED this so much!! Your filming and editing is next level.
Girlllll the editing!!! Checks kiss!! It looks so amazing
Thanks so much my lovely!❤️❤️
Love this! I’m okay on a Monday morning to get up early but seems harder rest of week (6am) I will try again.x
6 am is super early!! Go you ❤️
@@BeccaWatson I go to bed around 8pm some nights and watch T.V and read kindle, but really must stay off phone in the mornings it wastes so much of my time it’s ridiculous….did start walking in the mornings but there is always a little excuse and that’s not good!
omg I love ur content becca ur sooo amazing am subscribing rigt now!

The intro of this video was stellar!! I loved the cinematography effect. Also, the video was really inspiring. ✨
😊
This is the most realistic 5am video I've seen so far!
Love your editing!!❤
Love your videos ❤ this video literally motivates me and I have watched it more than 10 times. I really hope I get to see more of these videos
Such GOOD videos you are so productive and aesthetic even if you are are waking up at 5:00 AM.
I love your videos so much and you help me to be more productive. Thank you so much

This is the most honest morning routine video I have ever watched (and I've watched a lot 🤣🤣)...loved it!! Thank you Becca. I hate waking up to an alarm...I naturally wake up around which is good....5am just sounds completely horrible to me though 🤣🤣🤣
Who likes waking up to an alarm ?… 😫🫠🫠
Your beauty 100% drives me watching your videos.
I need to know what you're eating at 7:34 it looks like such a comforting meal. SOS
new subscriber! I love the editing,I'm going to try this.
Yeah I work in an office at start at 7:30 and I have a lot of traffic to battle with. 4am start daily lol
Not really, I have to be at work for 8am and I can get up and 5am. I go right to gym. It makes me feel more productive with my day, but oddly enough I feel like I have more energy in the day.
It’s about priorities. Not about your job lol
I’m a teacher. I wake up at 5am, exercise and get so much done before leaving home…I even manage to get to school early to make sure I have everything prepared for the day :) My body clock now even wakes up naturally around 5am on weekends and I am so much more productive ❤
I get your point , but it is not impossible to achieve ,even if you have a day job.
I wait for your videos and your advices every time ,keep going lovely your awesome 🥰🥰🥰
Aw, this is so sweet!❤️
The intro tho SO GOOD!❤
