I saw you last Friday. You were crossing the road beside the museum of Lincolnshire life. The car I was in stopped you crossing. You had to wait in the middle of the road. Sorry about that. I never knew Lincolnshire had so many ruins nor where forget me nots got their name. Looking forward to watching the new nosferatu remake. Thanks Sean, really enjoyable as always
Thanks Kelly, well I don`t remember last Friday, you should have said hello. Yes, I am also looking forward to the new nosferatu movie. I hope its as good as the Klaus Kinski version.
Hi Sean , great episode as always , brought back fond memories for me ! I had an Aunt who lived on Horton st , bang opposite the abbey ruins on monks road , she often took me to that park , keep up the good work mate 😊😊
Great video Sean, we were without internet for 2 weeks while we moved to a new town. I am so glad I finally got to watch another walk-about. The state of all these Abbeys hurt my heart, such magnificent workmanship and history to be left back to nature. Thanks for all the information. Much love from a now hot Globe AZ.
@@Seany63 I am still trying to de-stress, this is temporary until we can buy a home. Settled into a caravan (camper) for now and not far from my husbands truck company he works for.
@@kariwellborn5083 I used to live in a caravan in the wilds Cornwall, great memories. I hope you find a new place soon kari. All the best from a pleasantly warm and sunny Lincoln.
Thanks and yes,so much of st andrews has gone some since my first visit some 30 years ago. Nice to here from you Malcolm, I hope all is fine in your universe?
Thank you Sean for another fascinating and superbly researched video. I didn't know about many of these ruins, so I've now added them to my list of local places to visit next time I'm home. Have you been to Byland Abbey in North Yorkshire? If not, it's well worth a visit, along with nearby Rievaulx Abbey. It has many tales associated with it, which are documented in a book by S.R. Young called The Ghosts of Medieval Yorkshire: The Zombies, Shape-Changers, and Ghouls of Byland Abbey. All the best from a very hot Saudi Arabia.
Thank you Rupert, well we could use some hot weather here. it's been a very disappointing summer so far. Funny you should mention North Yorkshire, I am planning a trip there later in the year and I will be sure to visit the abbeys. Oh, and the book sounds amazing, I will definitely buy a copy to take with me. Thanks for the info Rupert. All the best.
@Seany63 Hope you have a great trip to North Yorkshire. If you're visiting the abbeys, the nearby town of Helmsley and Helmsley Castle are also worth a visit. My family and I stayed there on holiday last year, and we had a lovely time exploring the town and the surrounding area. All the best.
Well another classic delivered by the one and only how you retain all the information on all the different places is beyond me you're a very clever man sean Stanley Baker zulu was crazy on this film when I was a lad because it was based on true events. Do you ever watch vintage vault on tube some classic horror's on there sean. Its prime time for your green fingers in this weather pal hopefully it will last for months and keep you busy. I'm currently working in irby have you heard of it lovely little place. Well once again sean thanks for all your hard work love from marschapel
Thanks Lee. Well, the vid was made over many months and I had lots of time to read up. So I am not that cleaver but thanks anyway. Yes, I love my old horror movies and there are quite a few obscure one on RUclips. Are you at Irby upon Humber, near Grimsby or Irby in the marsh near Spilsby? Yes, great weather for gardening at present.😎
fantastic stuff, very enjoyable Thanks
Been waiting for a new upload!
