Just a little trail history "tidbit", In North America, an oddly formed tree shaped like @36:31, was actually an indigenous people's trail sign post. They would stake branches out to indicate directions of travel to mark the trade routes.
Imagine cops finding you with that foot powder bag though haha.. "What's this, sonny?" "Trust me officer, you don't want to open that." "Oh really?" :p
I'm a volunteer for Norfolk mountain rescue. We haven't had a call out in 23 years but if you ever get stuck while your up there. Only kidding, I'm a Suffolk lad like you. Enjoyed this Craig, we have walked several parts of the Norfolk coast, it's a beautiful area. Thanks for posting.
I watched this video last night, I never knew much about East Anglia, I'm from the south east /Cornwall and north east, so did my longer walks/camps in those areas. I did (with mates) the local North Downs (Guildford area), stretches of Hadrians Wall, and the entire Cornish coast path....which was amazing. Your videos bring back those memories. I'm in Illinois now, with my American girl, we walk on old railroad lines mostly, and it's not unlike East Anglia in some ways...it's flat😀👍🏴🇺🇸 Mark
Awwww Craig is back on our screens' I shout to the Wife'.. Brilliant is her reply 🤛🏼👍🤟🏼🤍 Wicked video 📸 always a leisure watching your pleasure, of what you luv doing. Blessings sent for you're weekend 🤠 Namaste 🤍

You’re a legend for your efforts towards such a worthy cause! Veterans such as yourself are heroes. Much respect to you young fella! 👊 I also think you’d love hiking here in Tasmania! It’s a small place(a little bit smaller than Ireland), but the entire south west is uninhabited. And 10% of the population in total! But it’s not flat in many places…
Always excited when a new video comes out, love to content man you're a big inspiration to me. Love how positive you stay no matter what. I struggle a lot with mental health an your videos give me a uplift in my state of mind an reminds me to try stay positive no matter what.
Having left Norfolk and moved abroad many years ago, this vid really stirred the nostalgia. Used to ride Peddars Way on my old BSA B40 back during the early 80's. Good ol' Norfolk... beautiful county.
@@EastAnglianBushcraft : That they are, for sure. There used to be a British motorcycle dealership in Dereham which specialized in ex-army bikes and that's where I used to buy my run-around hacks. There was a group of around 10 of us used to meet up with our B40's and regularly ride Peddars way, either south of Swaffam down into the Breks or up to where you are, to the north. Bloody Romans and their obsession with straight roads, eh ? Tedious on foot but, bro, those long sweeping straights were great fun on a bike. Anyway, looking forward to the next installment of your trek, all good stuff. Stay safe, fella... and keep those hooves well powdered and dry. Cheers !
A stonking part one transmission Chap! A huge well done for such an adventure and worry cause! You never dissapoint. Old Bean. Gotta love a drop of Beaverton.. Even at 6. 50 decimel 🤣 Can't wait for part two. Cheers Steve
Man well done. Enjoyed that . Looked an awesome adventure. Want to do those trails myself ( not all in one though 🥵) Looking forward to watching part 2 when time allows mate 👍. Great cause too. Take care 🙏🏕🎄. Have a great Christmas .
cracking work mate never easy when sometimes the concrete takes up more than farm pathways or woodland but its how it goes well done on keeping the pace up and we fully understand the feeling of wanting to achieve and explore on your own we all need that from time to time
Great effort. Great charity. Peddars' Way and Norfolk/Suffolk coast paths are on my to do list. As a fellow East Anglian it is almost compulsory to tick off. 😀 Six an'a half quid for a pint though...... (ouch).
@@EastAnglianBushcraft Im buzzing for the next half. I live in Kessingland which is between Lowestoft and Southwold so i'm hoping you've got some footage but i really hope i didnt miss you in the Sailors Home. How far off is this Dunwich woods video lol
I walked to Holkham woods to camp back in August. As soon as I was into the trees I got surrounded by flies. Like around 20 bluebottles buzzing round my head. Was doing my head in. Had to head back out and camp in the dunes. Best decision ever as I watched a beautiful sunset, then got up to watch a beautiful sunrise. Great content mate.
Buzzing for this video. Also thank you so much for the encouraging words you said to me on Instagram when I was in a bit of a shitty place it really meant the world to me. Your just such an awesome guy

Peddars Way blows my mind. It's pre-Roman, no one knows how old it is but it's at least 2000 years old for sure.
£6.50 a pint; that's crazy; bad as London prices! Great watch and good to see that coastline again
