I love how WS is slowly becoming more and more realistic. I absolutely cant wait for the crocodile and aardvark, aswell as the baboon climbing feature is incredibly animated! I can't wait for this update.
I saw a comment asking about the croc being able to hunt and Ludi said that the crocodile does not have an attack animation just yet, so the recode may not be as soon as next week, but this is overall this is gr8 news and this means the update may come sometime in November!! Fingers crossed!
i wouldn't be so sure lol i also saw somewhere that ludi replied that he had done all of that progress shown in the video in less than a week, that he was just not showing it. let's hope the update arrives sooner than expected i am beyond excited hehe.
I'm pretty sure he'll also remodel the crocodile in blender like all the others. The current model is horrible and outdated. As well as the baboon and stork.

Exactly!! I would love to have this game on steam. I don’t play animalia but I may have to check it out. However the game WolfQuest anniversary edition where you get to live the life of a wolf and start your own pack, I love that game. I play it everyday. To me that’s the game that’s the competition for this.
The Aardvark looks so good! It's also my favorite feature coming up because I love burrowing. Besides it's my favorite African animal. I am just scared if the ant mound will be the only thing they can eat, and if it is the only thing, they can eat I don't want it to end up like the marabou stork fish feature where it's harder to get fish.
@@topazstone6275 leopard is gonna be able to freely move on trees and climb,bet that if they add bone break maybe the baboons might have an hard time escaping leopards from an high tree.

You can kill prey while grabbing onto them. You won't be able to grab anything that a crocodile wouldn't reasonably hunt, such as buffalo. (If you can, you will probably die.)
it´d be nice if the old animals shown already had the new textures and improved models and everything from eating, attacking and all that because some of them are for sure still unfinished and the upate will take a few more weeks to come until all that is done but it makes sense that they don´t because that´s supposed to come in later updates, i just hope it doesn´t take 2 more years to get the new models if most of the new stuff like mechanics, and animations is mostly done and already updated in the recode. But i gotta be honest i can´t wait to play as a crocodile and ambush players when they cross the river, as a baboon and eat stuff from trees and some small animals from time to time, and leopard too with the new stuff, because i want to be able to hunt stuff and eat in peace on top of a tree and not depend on scavenging whatever corpses are left after the constant war and unrealistic behavior of players in the servers, which is why solitary animals is the best idea unless this recode changes how people play the game. But i doubt it, because if there´s gonna be some op animals added back to the game with new stuff, war is just going to be every big herbivore against lions, or lions killing themselves or smaller big cats and other animals to be able to eat, so yeah XD but i hope people start actually playing and we can see a lot of prey for every carnivore to hunt, and actual herds and prides and packs doing their thing instead of forming them just to kill eachother. I´m not even going to mention birds because hunting from the air or fishing is very hard unless ludi has changed something, plus we all know smaller animals are less interesting for a lot of people, i´m sure we won´t see many meerkats, warthogs, aardvarks , antilope, impala and all that type of fauna very frequently unless some people really like them, it´s mostly gonna be the big stuff i think, but i can´t wait to see how the playability changes!
Now its E Z so the bottom line of the z aka bottom lip curl can connect to the ardvark crocodiles top snout/jaw which is curved, i think i looks mouldy aswel if that means anything, mulder? That was esay peasy ok next challenge 😂
The climbing feature for baboon left me so unbelievably shocked by how well done it is, Ludi is full of surprises. Everything was done very well!

Unfortunately it would most likely need to be completely recoded for that, so they may just make a different mechanic thingy for leopards

Another suggestion is that you can carry out attacks in the air whenever you want and not when an enemy is nearby.
