I honestly almost never just sit down and just listen to a song, but honestly this song warranted it, I stopped what I was doing and took it in. Theres so much intent between each instrument and sections of this song. Wonderful song and even more amazing remix, hope to see more EBF remixes in the future!

Yep, this is actually pretty much how I made the third section. The first two parts were basically remixed directly from the original (with the exception of the middle section of Part 2), and for the third section I spent a lot of time figuring out the order of verses in order to both re-incorporate and expand upon all the motifs in the original song. Glad you liked it!

Why does everyone that mention oneself as a woman always has "dude" or "guy" in their names? I'm mentioning this because it wasn't the first time and definitely not the last. Another pattern I noticed is how the names are made to try really hard to convince others that the user is a man and stuff as much as possible lmao but this one here not really much just casual. I think this is now a starter pack for the women in the internet lol. 😂

Epic Battle Fantasy was a kind of zeitgeist of flash game JRPGS back in the 2000’s. It started as a simple and short mockup of them as well as early internet memes and culture, but each sequel was a huge upgrade to the previous one, with 4 and 5 being full-on games of their own rather than just homages. They are on steam in a collection bundle now I think.
damn it's been almost half a decade. i almost forgot how damn good this piece was... the remix is a complete banger. just my two cents tho, the percussion seems to make some of the instruments...pulse a bit in a way that kinda bugged me. especially at the beginning when the drums came in (but i couldn't quite hear it after that). could just be me tho

Thanks for the praise, and I'm totally fine with you posting it on the discord since I don't really advertise my stuff anywhere on my own. I'm pretty surprised at how successful this remix has been (I originally posted it at only 30 subs), but I suppose I shouldn't be given that EBF has a decently large fanbase but doesn't have that many people creating new content in it, making it much easier to get noticed.

Glad you're enjoying the remix as much as I am! Doing other EBF remixes is something that has crossed my mind a couple times, and I definitely won't rule it out entirely. That being said, unless I get a sudden burst of inspiration like I did for this remix, I'll probably be focusing my efforts on my bigger projects instead (YOMI hustle and Your Turn to Jam).

However, I may eventually upload some of my stuff to Bandcamp. If you specifically want to listen to this through Spotify, you can use websites or recording software to extract an mp3 from a video, and you can upload your own mp3s for personal use on Spotify.
My only major feedback is that it sounds like you're missing a little bit of reverb in some key parts, but particularly early into waves 1&2. The synths end a bit flatly, though that's filled out nicely by the choir later.
Yeah, I can see what you mean. I potentially could have automated the reverb for some of the instruments so that they have more reverb when playing on their own and less when playing with other instruments (otherwise the sound would get a bit muddled). Thanks for the feedback!
