I am in the UK. Today, I was told by an OT attached to a mobility company that the seat on this chair is not suitable for all day use as the seat is not designed for pressure relief and could therefore injure me.
I am very happy with my jazzy air2 except I need bigger footplates as I have had a Stroke and my feet will not stay on the standard footplate. Do footplates come in larger sizes?
Hey Marc. I received my chair today and I love it! The one problem I'm having trouble with is the armrest isn't long enough so I have to bend my wrist back to try and control the joystick. I have long arms and this is very uncomfortable. Is there anything I can do? Please help. Thanks
Hi, The joystick sits on a post and that post can be extended further out which would then make the joystick further from the end of the arm rest. You should have an allen wrench tool in the owners manual book. Flip the arm up that has the joystick on it and you will see a little set screw in the middle of the bottom side of the arm. Loosen that and then just extend the joystick post further out. Thank you, Alex
@@Marcsmobility Problem solved and I did it alone!!!lol The only issue left is that the arm covers with the red reflector tape were not on and just looking at them they just unscrew and fit over the bend in the arm and screw back together but the thick cords don't allow them to so i'll just have to leave them off which is not a problem as the chair is still a definite head turner but if you know something I don't just drop me a line. Thanks alot
looks a very good product. may need a broad footrest. meets my needs, especially height to stand up how much is it please and can this be shipped over to the UK, please. I just fail to understand why there is a powered seat going up to 12 inches on a mobility scooter? will give an option to go that high only to stand up
We don't get much snow down here in central Florida to give an honest answer but we haven't ever had any complaints from anyone in the snow areas of the country. The tires are large enough that in light snow it shouldn't be a problem, you just don't want to get into snow that is too deep.

There is an option to put another larger footrest on that unit to have a larger foot area

Issue is footplate can not be any wider due to the front caster wheels turning when you got from forward to reverse

Does it feel steady when your going over a curb or highly uneven pavement? Im scared of it tipping over!
It is still pretty stable but its recommended if your going over really uneven pavement to lower the seat down.

The New Models have flat folding seats. Total height 32" so you can get manual ramps to load it in the vehicle if you have 32" clearance.
