Dune Prophecy has slowly become one of my favorite shows. Like Andor it starts off _very_ slow but then by Episode 4 you realize _every single scene_ is setting up for something, nothing wasted. This show's really surprised me. It's a shame people are put off by the first couple episodes and it being released so close to Agatha and Acolyte. This show ACTUALLY dives into what time-witches do to an empire and how the people behind it lead very fucked up lives in the name of "the greater good". One of those where every new episode retroactively makes the prior ones better. Hopefully it sticks the ending.
4:80 Thrilled to hear Pirates of Dark Water get a shout-out from the Drinker! A year ago I did a video on world-building in that show, if anyone is interested in re-living that series.
hoping to see a dedicated vid or proper discussion on the w40k secret level episode. the waves its making, it deserves the attention in anticipation to cavill's w40k universe
I watched die hard for the first time yesterday I was blown away damn what a good movie thanks for recommending it Drinker cheers to you & Mauler & IT IS A CHRISTMAS 🎄 MOVIE if anyone else says anything tell them to go away
For the original Cowboy BeeBoop experience you need to watch half an episode at a time every third Tuesday. Not finishing any of the half completed episodes until the end. Also best if taken in five years segments. [Adult Swim]
... but it only occurs because Hans Gruber took advantage of the holiday season and the office Christmas party to stage his robbery and catch everyone unawares and inebriated and McClanes only there because he was invited to the party and he went because it's Christmas and wants to reunite his family WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT COULD HAPPEN AT ANY TIME?
It’s about a guy who flew across the country despite having a case backlog back home, because he wanted to spend Christmas with his wife/family, to hopefully make amends and work out differences-and then a greedy profiteer seeking to exploit the holiday for his personal gain. Sounds like a Christmas movie to me, it’s basically the core of many of them. The idea of wholesome values, family, friendship, etc vs materialism, wealth, power. Other Christmas movies revolve around this dichotomy-like It’s a Wonderful Life with George Bailey vs Potter.
Saying Die Hard is a Christmas movie is absurd, like someone said, if the setting isn't about Christmas then it clearly isn't and Christmas has nothing to do with action or violence, as you say it almost every single movie set in late October would be an Halloween movie, it makes no sense.
I just got through watching Die Hard in the midst of listening to this RUclips video. I would consider it a Christmas movie. PG13 or soft R, but it is sort of Christmas-y.
I have struggles with the murder scene in 28 weeks later. Didn't the wife know she was a carrier? Didn't she know what was going to happen when she turned her husband into an infected while she was strapped down?
He was ARAM God and his play style was the most unique. It was so much fun looking like you are running around like a chicken with your head cut off but you're actually placing stars for multiple hits and potential kills without actually properly aiming.
X-MAZ MOVIE = x-maz spirit / family gathering with the goal to celebrate x-maz with dinner+tree+presents / santa on a mission to give a lost gift to a child / turn evil into good aka a christmas carol or the grinch etcetcetc liek only X-MAZ stuff and NOTHING ELSE! imo ;P (its not enough if u have a ACTION movie during a company X-MAZ party n shit ALL!!1 ;))
Mysterious Cities of Gold! 😊
The joy to the heart that brings just in remembering it.
Awesome show.
Also loved the Once Upon a Time... series
Black Rain is an absolute classic! One of the best cop/action movies of the 80s.
One of the few times that working nights and waking up around noon Eastern time in the U.S. Comes in handy.
Appreciate the upload.
Delighted to see this up now! Always really enjoy it!! 😁😁😁😁😁
The Pirates of Dark Water is excellent. Shame they never finished it.
That's a shame.
Cheers, Gents!

"Get out of my way you infernal Monkey-Bird!"
OMG I loved Pirates of Darkwater!
Merry Christmas, everyone. 🎉
This just made what I needed today!
Ah Mysterious Cities of Gold and Pirates of Darkwater. Those were good days. Are you old enough to remember Battle of the Planets as well Drinker?
Every time I see a new video, I'm excited!
Drinker, the "You started it" line *was* what Arnie said after punching the reindeer, not what you said.

It was good and the concept of secret level is really cool but it’s been marketed horribly
Silver Streak is a good Gene wilder film

If a movie opens with X-mas and follows to the end to X-mas, then it's an X-mas movie. Die Hard is an X-mas movie.
I dont care if its a christmas movie or not, but the very existence of the argument leads me to think that its not.
I prefer with a vengeance.
Rhino milk!!!!
finally something to help pass the time at work
It’s a good thing I’m off work as well haha!

Die hard could occur at anytime of the year! Therefore, not a bloody Christmas film!!!

Why would she know she's a carrier? She's been terrified for months and has no idea what's going on
32:45 Red One recommended? Really? 😂
pirates of dark water
32:39 The Rock and Red One gets recommended? Really? 😂
Even more fucked up taking away Aurelion Sol's stars.

I loved playing Boomkin in WoW when you could run around constantly to have the highest mob damage.
So, he read the two questions before my super chat. And then the two questions after my Super Chat and not mine.
Ok...
@@HawkTooa I'm sorry about that. When did you send it?
Woot!
