Fulltime travel has it's ups and down and we like to have fun no matter what situation we're in. We got our rv stuck in mud but had a ton of help from the awesome neighbors in the Highlands.

Hey, if you ever, ever, EVER get in a situation where you're using a chain to pull like that again -- PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE -- throw a heavy blanket or tarp (or anything like those) over the chain. This will help control what happens to the chain if it breaks. It may literally save a life ! Please pass this on, as well. I fortunately have never dealt with a snapped chain, but I've seen what a snapped chain and cable does -- and it ain't pretty !

I'm currently in the same predicament. I stored my Class A for the winter and the storage owner changed his mind from having me park on flat gravel to a grassy area. Massive snow melt on the south side causing tires to sink, ground on the north side is still frozen. Getting it towed in a couple of days. Hopefully no issues getting it out but muddy ground all around.

All because of a neighbor. Been in a similar situation but was a realtor who called the town as she was trying to sell the house down the street from me. We bring the RV over a few days before so we can load up on trips. Store the RV off-site. Leave on street when loading/unloading. Town does not allow RV's on the street other than actively loading/unloading or emergency repair. Once the house was sold the issue went away. All my neighbors are cool.....was just this beotch realtor who caused trouble. Unfortunate but I feel your pain.
I often use Havrest hosts rv camping sites where I’m told to park outback in a field . I guess I need to be more careful

I woulda tied my pickup off to the tree across the street and double line winched it. You weren’t stuck too bad. It sure sucks though.
