Forza 5 has to be one of the most well optimized games ever. What happened to Alan Wake 2 though? The new Crysis? Also what happened in Starfield too? 50 fps on 1080p and then 100 fps on 4K? You gotta be kidding me.
Maybe the developers think that after the hype decreases, their income from the game will also decrease, so they just don't care about optimizing the game
Indeed it is very well optimized. I could run FH5 with my old GTX860m 2gb equipped laptop, and I could even achieve around 80 fps in some areas on the lowest setting. Sure it went all the way down to like 40-45 in the city.
I got a newer PC recently with a 4070ti super using an ultrawide monitor playing at 1440p I don't use ray tracing, and gameplay is pretty smooth! I like it.

in a few days i get a 4070 ti super, after an agonizingly long thinking. I am also going to leave 1080p, and now i finally can agonize about the monitor.. :D 4k seems doable to an extend but i am going to keep this gpu for a long time, unsure if it would be wise to go for a 4k monitor. 1440p seems like the better choice for me.. but damn i would love to use 4k. But i will be like a month before i buy one, so i can go back and forth about it for quite a while.

4070ti at 730$ is more likely the bad choice compared to 800 for the Ti-S .. Now , if the Ti-non-s would drop to below 650 range... uhuh.. that would be the better deal for 1440p gaming atleast..
Actually 4070 Tis are getting collected by most retailers. The 4070 TI S is just 5-10% faster, so by end of June/July 2024, there will be lot f 4070 Tis flooding the used/mint market at super high rates say 500 USD. That will be a good seller at that price and would still fetch profit for used retailers
No, neither. It's compatible with i7 series, i7 13th or 14th will do the job just fine and well. Consider i9 series with high end GPUs, like 4080, the new 4080 S or 4090.

When you compare it to the RTX 4070 TI there is less than 5% difference. Only really benefit is 16 Gig Memory instead of 12 Gig. Other than that not much difference.

It's a capable 4K card if you play a bit with your in game settings.
I think so too also just use DLSS and Frame Gen. Balanced and even performance mode looks great on 4k.

God Damn it, my 9700k isn't 100% loaded in any games, except for Minecraft with shaders, but 4070 TiS is working at 20% lower FPS than any tests...

many games dont use all cores from your cpu, thats why it doesnt show 100% usage but still underperforms
