i don't think I've come across a single video of yours that I have not thought was invaluable information. Amazing job, as always, my friend. A lot of people don't understand how instagram works, so this is super helpful in that regard too.
Every time I watch a video on your channel I say wow. Thank you. You don't know how much you solved a problem I have been suffering from for years related to color profile assigning.
Unmesh bringing the goods as always! Great to meet you at WPPI a couple years back, and glad to see you're continuing to share the knowledge as PS evolves!
If you're editing photos rather than doing graphic design then curves are essential. I'd say the number one first thing you need to master in Photoshop. Luckily there are hundreds of really good tutorials on this channel and more. Good luck on your journey friend
Thanks for the video, very useful! Could you please make a video on how to match the colors of a photo from PC/laptop on your phone? When I transfer my photos into my phone, the colors are more de-saturated, darker and cooler. I always have to add more warmth, light and saturation in Photoshop in order to make them look decent on my phone.
This was awesome❤ Please make another explaining the best way to post images on Instagram and Facebook with the maximum quality that you export it in, without any compression that usually happens on Instagram.
Thanks for this. My concern is not about the settings and export tricks he mentioned. The problem usually happens when uploading mostly to Instagram, so is there a way to bypass Instagram compression?
@master_m_productions5628 I think your answer is at 14:30 No matter where you upload your image to . It will always be compressed. I think I could be wrong. But shouldn't lose details or to say making your work looks poor . From others that looked so well done in uploaded. Perfect sharpness and quality
@13:30 if I remember correctly Instagram requires longer edge to be 1080 pixels and file size less than 200kB. Shouldn't you change the quality to avoid unknown compressing by IG too? Or did they remove this 200kB limitation?
That's all well and good, of course, but when you're dropping photos onto your phone to upload to Instagram, it's the OS that decides everything. Instagram on iPhone for some reason uploads photos and videos in better quality than Android.
Also some monitors (cheaper) show the pictures way off than what normal phones show, so it would be helpful to transfer the picture to the phone and even do some edits in Lighrtroom for example
@piximperfect Please inform about the difference between Camera RAW & Lightroom if there are any that really matters. As I edit in Camera Raw with all masks and necessary changes. Does Lightroom has anything superior or they both are same in tools and editing ?
@@PiXimperfect sir can you make an video about. How to change normal pic to professional pic like wearing professional dress. Need to remove marks from face Make the pic quality is high and polish please
Can you please delve deeper on uploading to each major social media and design portfolio platforms? Sometimes it still feels off due to varying compression methods. Like how should I export my stuff if it's being uploaded thru Android, iOS or on a Windows PC? I feel like besides the different devices, some platforms also update or change their compression methods so I also wanna know what's the updated parameters. Thank you.
@@ESkengman strange, I was sure I have replied to your question. :) AdobeRGB is very often used in profesional world, because it is wider gamut and more colors can be shown. In addition, very important, the displays are capable of displaying it. The other, much wider, gamuts are very often (just my opinion) used in the software, when you process your photos. These allow to avoid any “calculation” issues and limited value ranges, which for example can’t result in visible color banding. But if you publish in internet, you still have to convert to sRGB, as all display can cover at least that.
@@pawl_s you're awesome, thank you so much for all your assistance 🙏 Really appreciate it. You didn't even have to reply, and you took time and did. Grateful.

I always wanted to know something. If I take any Formal shirt template and then how can I replace real texture from real shirt and make it look same. Can you make a video if it's possible?
I wonder if the DPI when rescaling affects social media uploads. I've always kept it to 72 for display, but from your workflow, you've kept it at 300 dpi. any thoughts?
Unmesh Whats the Difference between "COMMAND + OPTION + SHIFT + E" and "Select All + COMMAND + SHIFT + E" ? Aren't they both the same or is there a difference in the quality of the Image ? Please, Thank you !
Hello, could someone please help me, I tried to convert Adobe RGB(1998) to sRGB, but all the colours will desaturate. I followed all the instructions from the video, what am I doing wrong?
My problem is that on my graphic tablet colors are nice as i wanted but on my laptop they are off (desaturated). I work on sRGB and on export to PNG i chose to save with color profile but that doesn't work. I know that my laptop ( and any other monitor) don't have such great color range as graphic tablet but is there a way to compensate it?
Hey, I wonder if there is a setting in Adobe Illustrator to fix pixels. When I export a PNG say is a render of a phone, and I Rotate the image in Ai. when I export the layout, I almost always get a jagged edge on the phone render, I am forced to rotate the image with Ps and re-import it in Ai. I know you don't do Ai tutorials but wondering if these settings apply in Ai somehow.
I wish the export screen gave you an option to export to clipboard I just want to paste rather then end up with a file that I will 100% delete I know there's an option to "copy merged", but without any options like the export screen gives
Funny, I always changed the dpi to 72, than change the size to 1080 pixels and export it. I was wondering if you let the dpi stay at 300 what the differences wil be with the kb size and quality. I learned today that it will automatically set to 72 dpi if you export it and there are no kb and quality differences if you export it. I was thinking, it's the same workflow I had with 'save as' before export was introduced. Just an old habit and new knowledge. 😅

You need an icc profile of the printer and apply it to the photo then edit it again
use CMYK colour space for printing

Change to CMYK color mode. The brightness you will adjust
