    Ladies and gentlemen! I am still improving my vibora because it seems like that I am not Ale Galan yet.. (godo's words) Not mine of course..
    I need to keep daring to play it, because I feel like I am holding back. It's such a good shot if you kinda go for it. For me, it seems like it's superfast vibora or a slow shot into the net. This needs to change. We are working on the soft vibora in the center with a lot of slice today and we are practising the deeper vibora in the corner.

    The fact that even such a seasoned player as urself still can learn so much new from experienced coaches makes you understand how freaking complex this sport really is. Hitting "soft" without the ball becoming too shallow´on the other side is such a hard task really. Great video and thanks for sharing Sven!

    He teaches very pure old school vibira, seems very few pros these days use it. I wouldn’t listen to much to him but only pick up what works

      Well he was nr 13 WPT 5 years ago.

      @@OtroNivelPadel How often do you see that kind of vibora in wpt now? Seems more of a higher impact style with less wrists and closer to bandeja. Am I wrong?

  • @Tech_Publica
    @Tech_Publica Год назад +1

    as for the volley, if you want to do an aggressive volley like the one he is asking you, you should turn your shoulders while you hit. Hitting the volley without any rotation of the shoulders is great when you are doing a containment volley on a fast shot, or any volley in tennis because there you do not need excessive slice to create a winner with the volley.

    Superb Sven. I saved the video for future reference. Keep going with the technique videos, they are pure gold. Btw, what category do you play in Málaga?

  • @kingskawn

    The most difficult of this sport is to control the power and speed of the game. And from this video I can clearly see that playing a killer fast vibora or even bandeja is not done and will not give you faster game points. Thanks for this video and keep improving your foot work and smaller back swing 😆 #Vamos #GaanMetDieBanaan

    I think that when you hit the vibora in the corner you make the mistake of lowering the racket head, which should instead remain vertical, like you do keep it when you hit the Vibora at the center. That is what Gonzalo was trying to tell you when he tells you that "le das una pinturita"...
    I don' t know if you do it because of a head heavy racket that drives your wrist down, or because of a conscious movement that you do hoping to give the shot more slice to keep it low. Either case, you should avoid that, otherwise you are doing some kind of a strage hybrid between a vibora and a bandeja

    • @OtroNivelPadel
      @OtroNivelPadel  Год назад

      Yes I agree with you! I can see it back in the video. I need to keep my racket up a little longer, the top is falling

    do you always play the vibora with full power? or is it more like a 70% shot? because when i'm training i hit the best shots when i'm hitting 100% but as soon as i'm in a match a get scared of the 100% and start giving them slower and giving easy bals away

    • @OtroNivelPadel
      @OtroNivelPadel  Год назад +1

      Well, that’s exactly my mistake🤣 I have no speed varation.

    One thing that i believe that it's wrong, when Sven do the vibora, in contrast with Mr. Diaz , i think that Sven plays with open stance before he hits the ball, but Mr Diaz don't. 8:30-9:30 min of the video.
    I think with this stance , can't go forward to the net quickly.

    • @OtroNivelPadel
      @OtroNivelPadel  Год назад

      Thanks for the comment, what do you think is wrong?

    • @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος
      @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος Год назад

      The open stance

    • @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος
      @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος Год назад

      I believe that if we have left foot front,we'll have better rotation of our body. I think that Mr Diaz can tell us which is better . Because i come also from tennis ,i think that vibora or padeja ,is like a smash . We need to turn our body more

    • @OtroNivelPadel
      @OtroNivelPadel  Год назад

      Yes, that would be better, but sometimes its impossible

    • @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος
      @ΘοδωρηςΚαπελος Год назад

      I also think,as we see it, that is ok. But i try to find, what is the best.
