Its a miracle 😮 I went down to practice with ball machine this morning and focused on all the tips and I already felt the potential.. suddenly one popped out the cage! 🤩🎾💪 It’s VERY hard practice for your shoulder though! 😅
This is the best padel content in all the internet. I like to analise every padel shot and there is not so much about that in the internet, at least in a deep technique way. You have that point of view in your videos, not just a superficial one. Congrats and greetings from spain.
I know you are sponsored by Royal Padel but I would love to see you attempting kick smashes por tres with a Varlion Bourne, a Starvie Triton Pro, and a Adidas Adipower (the green one sponsored by Seba Nerone..) and compare and contrast them...
Hey Sven - You should swing by Sweden btw :D Question - when trying out the kick smash I tend to feel I'm putting a lot of stress on my elbow joint. Any tips on improving elbow joint strength and endurance, but also, could I be my technique since I feel too much stress in it? Also, what about the wrist, should I use my wrist at then end of the motion to generate extra power or should my hand and wrist just be relaxed all way through the motion? Thanks a ton, Johan from Sweden.
Will do in the future! I think its something that I have to see when you hit it. You can use your wrist if your timing is great and relax. The elbow hurst if you don’t have the 90’90’ preparation
@@OtroNivelPadel I play tennis for 35 years, dutch double rating 4 and I still can't smash, let alont kick smash or kick serve. But damn, it looks good! Hopefully this vid helps me a bit!
I think the “hand” tip could be good at the beginning but is technically wrong because it ruins your balance. Having the hand straight up or a little to the right gives you more room to lean on left
My biggest problem with the kick smash is topping it (hitting the ball on the top of the racket so it flies to the moon). Any recommendations to minimize that ?
m8, if you accept my humble advice, you tend to leave your weight behind therefore you don't take advantage of that energy. You have to run enough to be able to back-forward your weight to the upcoming ball and then aim the ball behind the service line from your oponent side.
The key to the kick smash to get it out from the baseline is editing. In the last shot you can see that he hits it from the bottom line, and when they focus that it comes out for three, it is much further ahead. Nice try.
I don't think it's a bad video, he knows the theory to kick the ball, I just think if I had to learn how to kick I would like to have a video where someone kicks it X3 10 times in a row, not once with an edited smash xD
He is sharing a LOT of knowledge for free.. and he is sharing his process of learning which is great! Maybe for your request, you need to consider paying money to get that.. :)
@@OtroNivelPadel Yeah i'm trying to slowly increase power so my technique isn't bad but I think my main problem is that I hit the ball when it's not in front of me because of bad positioning

Really good! Be careful! Don’t overtrain the smash

Thanks man! Great to hear!
I have a kick tip might be useful, when you train for a kick smash better to train on left side of the court if you are right handed.
Yes I agree
Great tutorial! thank you very much!
Thanks!
Muy buena explicación.
Gracias
Yo añado otro Consejo cambia la empuñadura, te ayudará en el kick
Yes that helps a lot
Excelentes videos!
Thank you!
Padel court worker: "What the hell are you going to do with that coffee table?"
Me: "Work on my kicksmash, what do you think?!" *smh*.
😂
Hahaha yes 🤣

Will try to make that happen
@@OtroNivelPadel Venga! Vamos! :)
It does look a lot like the technique of a tennis service, is it similar though?
If you play with kick, yes
Are you holding the racket with a tight or loose grip when hitting this shot?
Loose!

Don’t tell anyone🤣
I REALLY want to be able to hit this shot, but it is SO hard and practicing it kills my shoulder.
Me too!

It seems the professional players do this

Make the preparation smaller so you can time that part better
Same happens with golf. Once you flex your muscles too much, your arm get shorter. The result is a miss. Try to flex your muscles less. Works for me.

Thats good advice, I will look into that

@@OtroNivelPadel haha anyways your content it s great. Thanks
Lets not act like you edited that last shot where you hit it from the right side and then camara shows you on the left as it goes out x3
Magic

God gave us 2 legs... For the kick smash 😅
🤣🤣 very good comment
I have the power to smash but my technique is still bad
Fix your technique first before increasing the power

Dude can't do the kick smash and teaches other how to do it?
Watch my other videos about the smash. Maybe they help.
I wonder how it was your shoulder after recording this video, hahaha. God video anyway, it helps me with some tips. 🫡
It is doing quite okay :)
