    Watching from New Zealand. Id love your baler. I too am running an arcusin c14 multipack. Terrific machine. I wouldn't be baling conventionals without it now. We have a long parallel soft hand which clamps the 14 bale packs from the sides. Means we can lift 2 packs (28 bales) at once. Love ya work, enjoy watching farming content from other parts of the world for ideas.

      I would like to see that clamp in action. Do you have any pictures or videos?

    Great video, I love to see how the larger operations bale hay. All I know is standing on the trailer and taking the bales right off the baler and stacking them.

      That was part of the national physical fitness program. My job was at the top of the elevator in the mow. Grab and throw. It makes the food taste better, and the sleep come quickly. When we were not baling hay at home, we mowed hay for other farmers @ $1.00/ hour. We were rich.

    I use Sila-Prime hay Inoculant on every bale that I have made for the past 35 years. Helps with digestive quality of the hay as well as storage quality.

    Thoughts on twine vs wire? Adding a small baler soon, and want maintenance of wire, but twine is so much cheaper.. I aint old, but I aint gonna be young forever.

    • @FarmingInsider
      @FarmingInsider  3 года назад

      Handling wire is really a pain. Twine maintenance really isn't all that bad if you stay on top of it

    Wouldn’t it be a little faster running a couple stack cruisers and cut down on equipment costs and labor. You’ve got a lot of handling before it’s even in the barn. Just asking. We find it hard just trying to find enough help in this area

    • @FarmingInsider

      We run two bale wagons back to the barn for storage and stack on top of the load with a grab on a telehandler when shipping out we’re loading 53 foot boxes and 50 foot drop decks we only do drops and pick an empty up for return trip
