You should first define what “making it” means. Is making it being a single mom of seven kids who are first generation college graduates? Is your version of making it having a brother who died of cancer and you built a house for members of a cancer patient to live in while their loved one is fighting for survival while not taking a salary because the contribution is for society? Or is your version of making a dollar sign and bragging rights?
