    I just started a build on a 1972 XLH i just bought from a buddy, it came completely disassembled, i'll have to put a bunch of money into this thing but im excited to begin the project.

    I know it is an old video, suggestion heat the case to 250° F and freeze the race it will drop in with minimum press. Read an old Brit manual.
    Only a suggestio.

    You need end play
    There's a lot I want to say but

      Please elaborate. I know end play is critical on the flywheel but doesn’t that come into play once the bearings are installed? Crank or cam? The cams will be shimmed upon re install and the sprocket shaft play should be set by the timken bearing spacer once I mate the bearings/flywheel into the case? Or am I missing something? Genuinely trying to get a better understanding

      I was worried if you were going to check all end play
      Crank and cams and even on the rockers and the trans shaft and gears.
