- We spoke to Ronnie Fieg, Takashi Murakami and others after OFF-WHITE’s FW19 runway show in Paris to hear their thoughts on what they just saw. Everyone from Offset to Playboi Carti walked Virgil Abloh’s latest show, while the theme, titled “PUBLIC TELEVISION,” was inspired by nightly newscasts, PBS programs (the opening song was the theme from Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood), and a hint of gardening.

*Just got to look at some of the photos from the show, I think Ronnie hit the nail on the head. That gore-tex jacket was super fire, he’s got such a good eye. I was especially fond of that magenta jacket Offset was wearing. Plus with the LV line blowing it out of the water, man, Virgil just keeps on winning.*

he want to do football shoe...that why he did nike one afterward.. it for business... doing this kind of thing cost money and most people don't want paid for it... so he had to be smart... off-white is a small company... so you can not expect that like LV or other brand... is it made sense... no.... but yet again all show are like this... it just show the concept of design that will be improve over time...

All Virgil does is copy young designers without referencing and he takes all the credit and earns loads of money from it. His LV stuff is decent but his off-white stuff is horrible especially because he copies designs all the time.
The Fashion Archive the only reason his lv stuff is decent is because lv has a huge team around the design process

The Fashion Archive fashion is all based off of inspiration. It’s alright to copy, but only creatively. Now, fashion as a whole is an opinion and that opinion of yours I respect. I find the stuff to be quite nice, not all, but definitely most of it.
He’s been finessing the fashion industry since day one. I love some of his stuff but he’s a fraud
Wu Tang copy versus stealing is two different things. Copying is worst and Virgil doesn’t that and it lacks creativity. Everyone does copy but the best ones have stolen

Why Is My Face So Ashy that’s why you’re not in the fashion world. When your buying designer you’re not buying the raw material of the clothing but more so the design and feel of each piece. Also each brand has it’s off message and background as well as the creative directors name. Some people can’t afford it and some people can, go shop at Gap cause judging by your comment you don’t appreciate clothing

If virgil had no designer qualities he won’t be at LV. Knowing people is cool but it doesn’t get you the job of head designer at a big fashion house. Chaicago don also knows everybody but has barely done anything dope in fashion. Virgil is talented and creative period.
Martin YP lv needed someone who was just as in streetwear as Kim Jones but with more hype so why not his offspring Virgil who is a great guy and coming off a huge year. Talent doesn’t get you there. It’s more cronyism and hype. There’s a lot of factors to why he got the job from the burst of streetwear and high end to the diversity train big companies take to bring in more money.

Yes there are some very nice pieces, but for example the jacket that Offset wore is soo ugly. It is not beautiful or breathtaking in any way.

Personally I'm not a fan of that clothing. Everything is baggy. If you have a beautiful shaped body or good shape. Wouldn't you want to wear fitted clothing to show off your shape
Aside from takashi who's always gonna be positive, these people he's interviewing are so superficial. Virgil steals ugly designs and should not be accredited all the success he has earned over the years. Fashion is doomed with all these people circle jerking a fraud.
