So got to say there were moments I was truly doubting about George's real inner perceptions of things in term of his sexuality but when I listened to "An Easier Affair" that IS actually the song of a VERY STRAIGHT man who literally claims to be insulted for the thing he never really wanted to become despite accepting his life as it was. I just realized was not wrong about his deep feeling of staying or better being straight. With "An Easier Affair" it just became obvious for me how really big shame he felt deep inside to be actually turned that way by people around him exposed in the video as freeks.
And another proof despite of his constant need of attention was about how often it was exactly him who started some interviews by the topic of his gay sexuality and sometimes I even had an impression he was literally justifying himself just because he surely knew that was a kind of real life punishment for him. The fact he dedicated some of his songs to his gay lovers was about a need to attach himself emotionaly first of all or better his sexiality to someone and he was even talking about that need of attachment in one of his Parkinson interviews end of 90s.
