Came here for Green but I gotta say Abnormal was doing stuff I don't usually see in popping battles now a days he was very creative.
People need to understand tricks, flashy moves don't win contests these days. Greenteck had some great popping sets. Clean hits, and good technicality overall. Solid popping skills = Game over.
Abnormal was just moving around doing moves. Green was dancing to the music
I wouldn't say "just moving around" but definetly Green was more on point

Ive never seen Abnormal slide this much in a battle...seems like he strayed away from his strengths a little in this battle & committed too much to tricks. Great battle though, Greenteck had nice sets, musicality & diversity

No. They were both dancing. Abnormal used more hard hits (called bangs). Thats probably why you think greenteck was dancing more. They both brought it hard. Good battle from both of em. Walid did good it was close

greentek is my favorite dancer, but from a technical standpoint, as a popper, I have to say abnormal was just more on point. green was grooving, and his second and first were awesome, but overall abnormal just did more stuff that impressed meXD
ya pretty much i think abnormal would be like r u crazy? cuz green is in super beast mode here. hard to explain but abnormals shit is way more basic. nobody els can even do some of the shit green is doing here.
+draigan bra I been poppin for ten years, and everyone will have different opinions, I just say IN THIS ONE INSTANCE that I like Abnormal more. Technically he was more impressive in this particular instance imo. What Green has more than anything is raw musicality, I'm not particularly a fan if his new style, but everyone has to change. I been watching the him for a long time, and I just don't like the path his style is taking, no hate of course. I don't think Abnormal won this, but I think his moveset to me was more impressive. If we are talking everything not just tuts, waves, etc. then I would say Green won, his musicality and ability to play the crowd is unparalleled. I've watched these cats battle like 10 times it seems and Green always wins in the end.
+Section8dc well said! it seems like green winning 90 percent of his battles his trophy room must be dope. green just has soo much flavour and to me popping is about musicality and funk. animation is cool but if i dont see somebody actually feeling the beat but instead just performing cool moves it doesnt let me feel them. thats y i think green crushed it.

I agree; and Greenteck is one of if not my favorite dancer because he invents and gets into grooves like no other. He is very original! However if I never heard of or seen him before, and I was watching this battle I would want to see Abnormal again not Greenteck. I’ve seen this time and time again where people create all kind of reasons why the bigger name and normally better popper won. Abnormal was on point and So So Smooth; a joy to watch. Greenteck seemed kind of high in this one.
Abnormal was hard! Greenteck did some dope shit too. But to me no one won because you got a judge(Walid) who is not even a popper. Don't tell me he can pop, guy is wack as hell!

+Creshondia Fields I will have to agree that abnormal lost this one only because he was a show pony instead of a work horse....the crazy thing is that 2 years ..abnormal would've trashed greenteck because he was too clean and fundamentals were on point( in fact it was chaos unleashed venom beat greenteck, abnormal beat venom check it out)...but he made the decision to change his style so he can win...haha like greenteck did
