Ah, this is the Greenteck i miss. This is one helluva Battle and one of the Best IMHO.
I can't even believe that I have battled against Greenteck when watching this clip, he's truly an amazing dancer and absolutely one of my favorite poppers. He has grown so much and I will be happy if I ever reach his level of skill.
I gotta give a lot of cred to Slim too, who has also become one of my favorites. It doesn't get much better than this.

Yes!!!! Not long into this 'battle' you feel the 'winner' means nothing. This is beautiful technique and passion unfolding on the floor. An awesome exchange!!
A lot of ppl criticize green's new style. The fact of the matter is... If you're a popper you would know his creativity and raw talent is cool but there are some old sets where he avoids hitting which technically goes against POPPING. He changed his style bcuz he was inspired by OG's and wanted to execute moves with clean technicality. The fact is we shouldn't question his evolution. Would you want someone hounding your style?

as a matter of fact i had bionic step out of judging any of my other battles just because of statements like this, now you might think I'm protecting my crew and i will say, yes i am, because I've takin loses before alot, some even from bionic and this battle even tho i won felt like a lose too me, its worse winning knowing you lost, than losing with a clear head, bionics choice and everyone else's is what it is, what matters is the dancers heart. am i offend no, but you should ask the judges

the 2 beat kills in the tie-breaker that you did really won the battle. when green did that ticking shoulder freeze in round 3 you pretty much took it from there in my opinion. he's a dope dancer, you're a dope dancer. You did great, and max did too. we all win because we're all here for the dance, and that's really what it's about. great job

If you're too busy concentrating on who it is who's "winning" your're missing the point. Two greats like these transcend battle records.
But if you really can't see, Slim Boogie kills it hard in the second round.
TheRealPDizzle slim boogy set was weak...greentech killed him...yes i respect both their styles/skills...but lets be honest greentech is on his own lvl...i dong care if he breaks pop locking tradition or boundaries..the way i see it he lets the beat of the music inspire him and he moves to the beat...its a battle so that means put your best performance and the crowd decides who performed better. there is no panel of judges counting when they do moves not involved in there specific style and it counts against them. thats not what we have here in this video. sorry.

Dogan Gun hell yes he did. greentech is on his own lvl. i only watched 5 or 6 of his battles on here...and greentech generally steals the show MAINLY BECAUSE HE IS A NATURAL DANCER.

lalalalalaimrightyourwrong exactly. Green is on Bruce Lee level mastertry of his craft. He's transcended style. I liked when he was more raw, like Unleashed 2 will forever be a favorite, but Green is too obsessed and in love with his craft. He's constantly trying to top and challenge himself for his own sake. Slim is up there with the legends, but Green prob goes straight from a competition back to his studio to teach and put together workshops. A level very few in any profession are on.

These are my two favorite poppers in the world right now and I had been waiting a week to see this video. I was really surprised because based on the music selection with the first two rounds having a mechanical/industrial sound and the tie-break round having a funkier sound. Based on the music alone, going into it I favored Slim for the first two rounds and Green in the funkier one. Funny how things work, I thought Green took the first two and Slim got him on the final one. Two Giants.

Green is a technical popper, loads of variations of waves, tuts, footwork etc, all executed to musicality
Slim Boogie- Funky/technical- with no real care for perfect tut angles etc, just keep funky with it
The first three beats were more designed for the technical popper... where as in the fourth round, Slim took that shit ,,, not with ease but defo took it due to the funk... 3:1.. green won
