Youre alive! And this game looks awesome. Never seen it before. Ill definitely add this to my list of SFC games now. Thanks.

Very much alive! I've been quite busy touring with my band and working my job. But video games always bring me back to eventually hahahaha. I've got a handful of episodes in the work so I should be back to a normal upload schedule from here on

In a parallel universe, this has become a worldwide success, while Tetris is an obscure little puzzle game few people have even heard of.

As much as I enjoy this game I'd hate to see Tetris meet such a fate. I could spend hours playing Tetris Battle Gaiden or GB Tetris

Welcome back/1 I enjoy hearing about these import games I would have never known to exist.

I'm always looking for new puzzle games to go head to head against my wife!
Thanks for letting me know about a fantastic option I've never played before!

Always a pleasure to dig up some obscure gem! This one is perfect for 2 player. It just doesn't hit the same single player

I got it because it was Dolucky. It took FOREVER for it to come up on eBay at all back in the day when I did, but when it did it wasn't very expensive. Cool game, hidden gem even in an age when most of the gems have been dug up.

In my experience, Japan always has some sort of gem to dig up hahahaha.

Superb video. I'll try this one with my gf.
Also, what's the game at 0:18 (the board game/mario party-like one)?

It's some board game based off an anime but I can't remember which one. If I remember I'll follow up on this comment

@@RetroDrew maybe it's Dokapon Gaiden Honoo no Audition

    • @RetroDrew
      @RetroDrew  Год назад

Yep that's the one. I must've confused this game with another board game based on an anime.
I know a few of the SNES Dokapon games have translations but I'm not sure if this is one of them. Funny that we're talking about board games as the current review I'm working on happens to be be about one

@@RetroDrew It's gonna be awesome! Amazing how japan-only snes games can bring "new life" to the console once we know them.

Why does this remind me of another snes puzzler. I guess it's a little bit Bust a Move. Feel like I've played something where you're shooting blocks out. Kinda looks like if Pop'n'Twinbee was a puzzle game.

Konami had a game where you shot blocks out, called Quarth.

This is kinda similar to a few NeoGeo games like Money Puzzle Exchanger and Twinkle Star Sprites
