You just solved my problem!! Your instructions are so precise.!! I've been wearing my arm out trying to push down so hard on down strokes and barely letting my pen touch the paper on ups! No one else has shown the proper way to hold the pen (maker). It's so d simple and easy!! I have both broad tips and super tips. I almost threw them all away I'm so frustrated.. glad i didn't! And one of your older videos, you did the letter H and you broke it up into sections And it really helped me. I have a hard time putting the entire letter together but when you broke it up into sections it really helped. Then you proceeded to do the rest of the alphabet but you did it really fast. Is there anyway you can do a video where you break up each of the 26 letters and do it slowly in real time? I know it’s a lot to ask but it really helps

This is such a helpful video! I'm wondering, do you have any tips for people whose hands shake? I'm a makeup artist and I don't have issues with my hands shaking to the point that I can't work, however I noticed that in doing modern calligraphy the slower I go the more my hand shakes. unfortunately it runs in my family and every woman in my family has the same problem, but I'm just wondering if there is any tips that anyone else has for this issue. Thanks in advance!

Crayola markers are counted in medium sized brush pen or large sized brush pen??

I have some really old crayola pens that are slim and have a small tip. I can get the same strokes as with my hard fudenosuke I just have to press harder.

Can we make calligraphy using a common pen ?
Not really, no. You need to be able to get thick downstrokes and thin upstrokes. Traditional pens, like ball-point pens, don't allow for adjustments in thickness.
You can do faux calligraphy but it doesn't look as good.

Can’t you change the pressure instead of the angle? That’s what I’ve heard
That's the principle - but it only works with brush pens that are designed for calligraphy. What she is showing us is a hack for us to get a similar result with tools that aren't designed for calligraphy. Crayola markers don't respond to pressure and therefore the angle has to be changed to vary the thickness of the stroke.

Well Crayola markers r available on india but they r so expensive . They cost more than 2000 RS... ( 1$ = 80Rs)

i think crayola supertips is a normal difficulty than crayola markers
I have Crayola finetip And dollar tree $1 equivalent to the broad tip Crayolas. They're decent. They're fine tips are awful.
